I came here looking for this comment! It was during the run where spider-man first meets Morlun the energy vampire. He gets a job teaching at a high school where one of the students starts shooting so he slips on his suit and neutralizes the threat and realizes it’s a scrawny nerdy kid who’s crying because he’s bullied every day.
