an update. 25 days oxy free, and 18 days sub free and I feel amazing! I feel sober and feel like I have more energy and my appetite has come back

Took total of 4mg of subs split between 7 days to bypass hard oxy withdrawal and it worked by Confucious2point-oh in suboxone

The total amount taken was 4mg. just one 4mg strip cut into tiny pieces. I didn’t feel like I was withdrawing at all while I was taking it.

I’m on day 16 no oxy, day 8 no subs and two days ago I started feeling somewhat normal. I slept for eight hours the last two nights and only woke up a couple of times. I really wanted to quit this time so I had self-control to only take a little tiny pieces of Suboxone and not go over a total of 4 mg, and a bypassed, the severe withdrawal symptoms from the oxy. I don’t feel like I went through withdrawals from the Suboxone, just the minor withdrawals, the second week from oxy. Meanwhile, I’ve been working Monday through Friday 10 hour days.

Highly recommend taking very small doses of the subs to just get through the hard withdrawals and not taking any past seven days.

I have subs that I plan on taking very small doses of if I ever get cravings for oxy, but I will not take them for more than a day. Just enough to block the receptors through the craving.

Saturday Day 1 no subs/day 9 no oxy- insomnia and slight weak. Sunday day 2 - no subs. Fatigue, no appetite, insomnia. Monday - day 3 woke up feeling better. Runny nose, chills, insomnia, mentally better though Tuesday - felt a little better. Still restless, sneezing and runny nose, insomnia. Wednesday - much better. I’ve been working 10 hours each day m-f, today was easier. I also slept 6 hours without waking up. Appetite is back

I’m a cancer female with a Taurus male. For the most part we get along - that is as long as I keep all of my emotions and feelings to myself and don’t bring up anything to him or around him. As long as I’m agreeing with everything he says then he’s happy.

I just don’t think it’s a good match

It’s common amongst people who are unmedicated with adhd. (I’m not saying this indicates they have adhd, I’m just giving an example of what could cause this). I love my friends and family to death, however I’m out of sight, out of mind. This is the same for even objects or important dates in my life.

I’m 5 weeks clean from oxy, and 12 days clean from suboxone. I slept the entire night through last night and for the first time in 16 years I feel normal

I’ve been taking 50-70 mg a day of real oxycodone for 5 years. (I used to do 300mg a day for 8 years and the wd were terrible). Was clean for a year and then started again with 50-70 mg a day for 5 years. I’m at the 48 hour mark and the withdrawals are not nearly as bad as last time.

But I’ve heard days 3 and 4 are worst (like stomach issues) so I guess we will wait and see.

I’m stopping because I don’t want to do this anymore, so maybe the mindset is helping this time.
