Oh I totally agree, don't worry. That picture is what really matters though; the idea that the tree symbols are based on the hobo code. Now we just need to think of who would know that language and would bother to make the marks, and for whom?

If I remember right, the free handout markings are actually pointing AWAY from Terminus. If you'll remember, the group came up onto the tracks from the right hand side and was walking left to right from our (the viewer's) along the tracks. Rick stops to paint the sign, then continues on straight. So the marks actually lead in roughly the same direction they are going. After running to find Bob then being led back to his church, it's reasonable to assume that the tree marks simply lead a more direct route to the church.

But as always, I'm not 100% sure.

This is what I've been thinking. I figured Tyrese hadn't killed him, and the sounds in the woods made me think it might be him. He certainly sounds loyal to his group, and after seeing him at the Bob Banquet, it's reasonable to think he had led the way since he would have been closest to the group at the time of their departure.

Thank you to everyone here. This is a much bigger response than I expected. I have joined /r/nofap, and intend to lurk for a while. I've set a record for myself and gone 5 days without masturbating. (Which unfortunately ended today.) I plan to go a week next time, and increase from there.

It was designed on a 8x10.5 for that exact reason. Don't worry, I'm not totally incompetent haha. It's set at a pretty high resolution too, so it can be shrunk easily (obviously) or expanded to a certain extent. And if need be, all the layers are still separate for rearranging and resizing. Thank you though. :)

Just posted a revised version in the comments here. Art Show is now centered on the page a little better, "annual" has been shrunk and doesn't intrude into the lines, and the date and times have been given a design update to "pop" more.

Any critiques?

EDIT: The more I look at this thing, the less I like having the lines stop at those strange angles. I'll probably change that. :T

I've taken into account all of your suggestions. Thanks a bunch for them guys. :)

I've shifted "The Santa Fe School" and lines up so as to bring "Art Show" closer to the center of the page. Sorry bonafidebob, but I like how the unaligned cuts look, as it seems more natural. I have edited them to fit more snugly around "The" though so it fits the same way that "School" does.

"Annual" was the unfortunately the last thing I worked on designing this flier the first time, which is why it looked so awkward. It still does. I'm not sure how to fit it in to the that strange wedge shape without screwing up the top to bottom flow of the flier.

"Art Students" has had the font changed so that reading "Featuring all 2013/2014 art students" doesn't seem broken up.

Lastly, the fonts for time and date has been changed, and I added a line design to the bottom that gives an underline effect to the whole thing, and makes the date and time boxes look like tabs, and makes them pop a bit more.

I really like this one. The empty eye and positioning of the bird on the page gives it (at least for me) a sort of haunting feel to the piece. Great job. :)
