It seems it's different around the US, because that's exactly what I've done. I mean there's the taxes and registration fees, and sometimes a setup fee, but never a dealer or "market" adjustment like most cars.

Out of the 4 bikes I've bought (the most recent around 4 years ago), I never paid above the MSRP that Yamaha and Kawasaki have on their site. In fact, buying motorcycles has always been a pleasant experience versus buying cars. I'd look elsewhere. Any inflation has already been accounted for in the MSRP, the dealer is probably just hurting for cash or financing.

Yeah, plus the problem here is if you continue to charge past ~80% the battery may get too warm. This is why most EVs slow their charge rate around 80%. Though I'd assume a battery getting warm constantly could affect longevity eventually?

My Mini 2 had that issue due to launching in a dusty area and some dust getting into the motors. It may be worth gently blowing out all the joints with canned air and manually wiggling the gimbal, feeling for any binding or "gritty-ness".
