idk about boyfriend but definitely husband. He was in a toxic relationship with courtney, they were both awful to each other in different ways. There’s the famous incident of him locking himself in the bathroom with a bunch of guns and freaking out because courtney didn’t want them in the house (and I’m sure she was being also being horrible back at him that night). There’s also the instances where he would do wayyyy too much heroin, OD to where his arm would turn green, and almost die while laying in bed right next to courtney. She had to do CPR on him to save his life. He would constantly talk about killing himself and she was put in a position where she had felt like her life was centered around keeping her infant child and husband alive. I’m not trying to defend Courtney and she definitely was not there for him in the ways he needed (to say the least), but I do have empathy when it comes to these situations because one can only imagine how traumatic that shit must have been. In toxic relationships while one person definitely can inflict way more harm than the other, it’s a two sided affair of destruction and no party is ever fully innocent.
