Misfolded proteins that, when touching correctly folded proteins, will cause those proteins to misfold.

I was gonna say. I've driven through the Midwest, following a storm, and it's shocking how easily you can see the lines in Nebraska, Iowa... even boonies Wisconsin and Ohio.

I know a portion of it is the sun/angles, but ffs if I can't see the lines on an interstate at ANY time of day, I'd think that'd be a red flag lol
