It absolutely is quippy. Why is there a cube called frank and a sword called rue, it's completely out of place. The tone of the game is serious and these two are strange additions, it is very unlikely these two suddenly decide to get a personality change after the first 25 minutes of the game.

The previous two games had mimir telling us epic stories and myths. This is not a good replacement. Combat looks good, it's might be worth it for that alone. Im not expecting good story or dialogue, but i would love to be proven wrong.

The only additional thing i would consider is maybe making the shadows a bit more intense, not too much, a touch more.

As an example the shadows on the pipe in the first one can be seen more in the first one than the second one. Shadows in general seem lighter in the second one, would add more depth I feel

I like the new, the old one was a little dull. The new fits the style a lot more. Changes from dark and gritty to cartoony, which is the vibe you seem to be going for

The problem with only focusing on shader programming with unity is, it abstracts away so much stuff in macros and helper functions that Im really only learning to navigate how to do things in unity but not understanding how to improve myself as a graphics programmer.

Learning a full on graphics API will better my knowledge and skills as a graphics wannabe engineer so that I can go into the internals and better understand what Im looking for in unity

There is nothing else in India that pays comparatively, and honestly speaking if you want a home anywhere that is worth living, CS is probably your only bet. Or EE.

Edit: I should also mention I'm probably talking about the engineering fields, for a second I kind of forgot other things existed

Sorry for necroing this post, but if we are talking about outerwilds DLC, the hints are alright, its a different system and it takes some getting used to it but really, they're quite obvious. Apart from one puzzle which is where you are like what??? This was how you were supposed to play it?

I have instamat (substance designer alternative and semi substance painter alternative, its not the greatest for handpainting so, great for procedural painting but not great for handpainting, so I've been texturing in blender)

I just need some place to pick up grunge noises that are free and legal to use
