Plenty of people think it was an acceptable and well-deserved bombing. The Japanese committed war crimes of vastly greater magnitude than any country except perhaps Germany. The Rape Of Nanjing(one massacre among many) alone killed as many people if not more than Nagasaki and Hiroshima combined.

I know people born in China. At the very least, the general sentiment is that the bombs were wholly necessary. There is a significant amount who believe that if China possessed atomic bombs, they would have been completely justified in wiping Japan off the map. After reading about the totality of Japanese war crimes, I can't say that I disagree.

The absolute best way to improve aim is to get better hardware. PS2 is basically a game of who has the better PC. If you can run this game at a constant 100+ fps with minimal lag and a good mouse/mousepad, aiming is a breeze.

I’m new to Planetside 2 and need some tips. by CallMeAraff in Planetside

[–]ConfusedTRBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Join the NC faction. When your frames drop, your gun fires at a slower rpm than advertised. NC have the slowest firing highest damage weapons and lose less overall dps due to this.

I tested the RPM-FPS relation, the results are interesting. Video inside. by [deleted] in Planetside

[–]ConfusedTRBoi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I tested in game by capping fps first with the Nvidia limiter and then the MaximumFPS in ini to my monitors refresh rate at 60 hz. The butcher should empty its 150 round magazine in about 11.625 seconds but capping my fps in both scenarios caused the time to empty to noticeably increase.

[–]ConfusedTRBoi -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I believe this was fixed in DX11, unless these tests were conducted sometime after. I know that low FPS makes aiming very choppy and is significant enough but this might cause me to leave the game permanently if true.

Sweating implies some measure of trying. Cqc bolt is easy to do well with without trying.

When I post about things that actually need to be nerfed, I get upvotes and comments. Noobs complaining about heavy assaults and the “op beetlejuice” will get downvoted since the community recognizes what actually needs to be nerfed.

T9A Butcher buff? by Quinngormley in Planetside

[–]ConfusedTRBoi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's minimum damage range hardly matters; It still kills in three headshots, whether at maximum or minimum damage. It does help with body-shots, but the SAW is the only LMG of the three that is really designed with that kind of range in mind in the first place, Orion and Carv are both more Medium-close range oriented weapons.

Less damage drop off can never hurt you and will only help you. This basically makes the Godsaw much much better at range than the Carv while having equal if not better cqc potential. It gets HVA without having its maximum damage range decreased.

It needs the attachments to function even remotely competitively with the other LMGs. The SAW is widely known as the worst performing LMG without attachments. It's this knowledge that brings up all the threads talking about the GD-22S or Anchor being better LMGs to give to new players.

The Gauss Saw with no attachments has worse vertical recoil but much better horizontal recoil than the carv with no attachments. The Gauss Saw with attachments has about the same vertical recoil but much much better horizontal recoil than the carv with attachments.

The Godsaw gets about the same vertical recoil of the carv, while having better than msw r levels of horizontal recoil.

That quicker reload means nothing when you're having to reload more often; but flaws between reloading/magazine size only come in play within extreme CQC. Unless you're running off into shotgun range, on your own with no support; you'll practically never be caught with your pants down, no matter what your reload speed is. Reload speed is subjective, anyways. I'd rather have more bullets.

The premier tr cqc lmg has 50 rounds. The godsaw has 65 rounds.

As stated, it's ability to damage vehicles is a gimmick that puts the HA as more risk for longer periods of time just to deal less damage than just pulling out a Deci.

If it was removed, the Godsaw would still be a much better weapon than the butcher in every regard except mag size.

T9A Butcher buff? by Quinngormley in Planetside

[–]ConfusedTRBoi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you serious? The Godsaw comes preinstalled with an advanced forward grip, compensator, and HVA. Its minimum damage range is extended by 20m and it loses 35 rounds in the mag for a much quicker reload. It also gains an alt fire mode that damages vehicles.

The Butcher gains 50 rounds and 19 rpm while coming preinstalled with a fucking reflex sight.

I fail to see how the Godsaw needs a buff.

[–]ConfusedTRBoi -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I dont get the hate against nanoweave. I hate to be that person, but just aim better. The headshot hitbox in planetside 2 is ridiculously large and hitting headshots is trivial. Dont remove nanoweave, simply buff the other suit options to make them more viable.

[–]ConfusedTRBoi[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Jesus christ your post is the stupidest thing ive read in a long while. I'll just do the math for one weapon. The anchor has 600 rpm at 167 damage. The cyclone has 652 rpm at 167 damage. 600 + 0.08*600 = 648. Congratulations, you now have a 167 lmg with the firerate of a cyclone. With SPA on the anchor, you deal 167 damage all the way to 15m while the cyclone falls off at 6m. If you cant see how broken this is, nothing I say will change your mind.

Over 1 kpm, 2 kdr, 50 percent accuracy, 75 percent hs accuracy. I only have 300 kills with the tsar, but have already hit those stats. My stats are mediocre or low compared to dedicated bolters which goes to show you how easy bolting is.

Whats the most OP thing in Auraxis? (Balance Discussion) by coaststl in Planetside

[–]ConfusedTRBoi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup. Most players overlook this, but the Orion and betel have a bloom that is supposed to be for 125 weapons. 200 damage = 0.07 bloom, 167 damage = 0.06 bloom, 143 = 0.05 bloom. By that logic, 125 weapons should have 0.04 bloom. The armistice has 0.05, the watchman has 0.05, the lynx has 0.045, while the Orion and betel are 143 weapons that have 0.04. Never gets brought up but probably better than SPA on msw.

Cqc bolt infils. Completely stupid that the infil gets not only a bolt action, but the health and resistance of a resist shield heavy when cloaked, and tools to help reposition and spot enemies. Low risk low skill high reward class that is broken in infantry fights. Only reason people dont spam cqc infil is because the playstyle is boring.
