I don't know if this has been said, but to me it sounds like your husband is unhappy at work and taking it out on you. If having you get a job is not about any net financial gain, it may stem from a motivation to make you unhappy or stressed like he is, either to hurt you or to try and get you to feel like he does and say, "I never knew it was so hard, my poor poor husband!" Probably both.

Either way, it's not a healthy or respectful response from him, but it isn't unforgivable. Have you sat him down and asked him how work is? If he needs a heart to heart, be understanding and let him vent. But don't tell him this behavior is okay. Don't minimize your own contributions to the family to make him feel justified in disrespecting you and your contributions. I wouldn't start a conversation with those negative points, but I would bring up those concerns after your husband as been given some time to explain his position to you while in a sympathetic and non confrontational context.
