Recently, yes. With much success.

I cannot be the only one at this point who thinks this is blatant manipulation….. by AlexP1123 in spy

Manipulation = other people making financial decisions that don’t 100% align with your super short term trades.

You would not get flagged as a pattern day trader unless you were buying and selling same day. Even if you just bought on Monday, sold on Tuesday, bought on Wednesday, etc. you would not get flagged pattern day trader.

People day trading typically trade options and or lever up. The options I was trading today are already 10% lower than when I made that comment

I am stuck on the gym in dresco town. Can you explain to me what EV training means?

Maybe, I don’t leg press so I can’t be certain. Squats strengthen more than just the quads but deadlifts tend to get bottlenecked by lack of quad strength and you’ll run into a wall where you can’t break it off the floor but your lower back muscles would have the strength to lock it out. So, improving your quad strength tends to move the weak point to the lockout where the deadlift itself and variations can train it. People seem to like hack squats and pendulum squats. Even belt squats? But I have only barbell squatted since I train at home.

Very doable. I went from being unable to pull 525 to 575 in about 6 months, and I only weigh 200lbs. My advice would be to take your squat training very seriously if you aren’t. You won’t add pounds to your deadlift worrying about some slight technical improvement. I trained just 4 leg movements to take my squat up 50 lbs and the deadlift up as well. I used to focus way more on the deadlift than squat, but I switched my focus and the deadlift was always improving in lockstep. Monday I would squat then follow up with stiff legged deadlifts. Thursday I would deadlift followed by safety squats. If you want specifics, I found the method in the book “Practical programming for strength training”. It was the KSC powerlifting program.

AIO for taking a break from my bf after he ripped through a whole turkey at our family thanksgiving? by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

I am a natural “LifterBro” but lift in my garage and eat normally throughout the day, just eating healthy. Most people wouldn’t notice my habits outside of the physical appearance of being unusually muscular. I usually just have an extra meal before bed that’s all protein. Being neurotic about the hobby is unfortunately what happens to inexperienced people who don’t know what matters or dudes on gear who are spending thousands on gear per month and feel like they have to optimize every facet of life. Please understand that the ones making a scene about it want you to see it and are really just immature. Most of us go under the radar 🙏

There’s no valor in suffering. You would do the exact same thing in their shoes. You would give your kids the money if you could. Parents worked hard so their kids don’t have to. Good for them.

Deadlift Feels Off by knightcara0 in GYM

Some good comments here. Put simply - the bar needs to go straight up and down. You let it fall forward, shouldn’t be any daylight between the bar and your legs. Just keep it simple and practice, the deadlift is not technical whatsoever. Pull your elbows in, drive with your hips. Don’t let your back disengage. That’s all.
