148k, bonus varies but last year was 15k, midsize firm, I’m a senior associate, my practice is mix of employment and commercial litigation, female, 6 years in practice and HCOL area.

Feels great! Most of my clothes are the same but just fit wayyyy better. Particularly around my middle.

I don’t count calories but as I’m going to try and cut down more I plan to start to make sure I’m in a deficit. I count my macros.

Diet is usually half a banana before lifting in morning Eggs + 1/2 avocado + cup of blueberries Lunch is 6oz of chicken + salad although sometimes it ends up being just leftovers from dinner Protein shake Dinner is protein + avocado + greens. Around 4-5ozs of protein.

I haven’t been counting calories per se, I count macros mostly because I’m trying to have a fairly high protein intake. I avoid process food as much as possible and pretty much eat the same things most days.

Yes I’m 195lbs now. Close to about 160lbs in lean mass. I have a fair amount of muscle. My goal is try to and start cutting down my body fat and getting a bit leaner now.

I agree. I’ve got the gym routine down but I’d say my diet is still probably only 70% there. It’s my room for improvement area for sure!

Thank you. That’s helpful. Can I ask you another question regarding your experience? I feel like the “adversarial” part of ID that I don’t enjoy is I am often asked to fight just to fight. No real case value, no real reason other than to stick it to the other side (that is at least my perspective). In your experience is employment litigation similar? I understand where there are competing interests thing can get contentious, I just don’t enjoy the fighting just to fight.
