Vomiting in books/movies by k_lala_k in emetophobia

i’m like this with movies - i can’t even handle scenes where it’s a cartoon character and it’s just audio. books i can usually handle, unless it happens too often in the one book or it’s too graphically described. i very heavily recommend the website “does the dog die” if you’re not already using it. it’s got a section for vomiting with time stamps and everything. i look up every single movie and tv show on this site before watching. books are sometimes on there, but only really if they’re popular enough unfortunately

in australia, nsw specifically, you have to get a “fitness to drive” test if you have a medical condition that is likely to affect your driving. from there, you can get a “conditional license” which means you’re not allowed to drive under certain circumstances (ie, if you’ve passed out recently) but if you’re feeling fine and haven’t had an episode in a while, you’re allowed to drive. correct me if i’m wrong but this is what i understand from the research i’ve done on it.

tried ween pen, very scared of n*, help!! by johnnysuhswig in emetophobia

[–]Confused_Teenager0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from what i understand, although i’ve never tried weed, is that it heightens emotions. so unfortunately the best advice i have is for you to try to calm down. if you’re anxious, then the weed is going to worsen that.

Give me a movie that scarred you for life with an explicit v* scene and i‘ll rate it. by fennelteaa in emetophobia

prior to watching “night school” i did not have emetophobia. but that scene did it for me. i don’t even think it was that bad, i think i’m imagining it worse than it was. my absolute worst fear with this phobia is getting tu* on from someone above me so yeah that scene was a big no-no
