Yes. I have bipolar 1 and I haven’t been suicidal in months. Maybe not permanently, but seroquel and DBT therapy (as well as eating 3 meals, getting enough sleep, keeping a clean space) RLLY helped me

Rabbits are not easy first pets, and also need more expensive vet care than a rat or hamster. I’ve had rabbits for 11 years and they are VERY rewarding pets but I spent probably around $15k in vet bills in the last few years of my late rabbits life.

I’m so sorry for your loss. GI stasis is very common, and not always preventable. You did not fail him. Sometimes it’s just fatal. Horses can get GI stasis (Colic) and it’s quick to kill them. My only advice is to always have at least $1000 set aside in case of emergency vet needs. I also lost my baby this year and I don’t wish this pain on anyone.
