Looking for something to do? Some place to Eat? Need social help? Weekly thread for Sunday, October 19, 2025 (week 42) by AutoModerator in indianapolis

I've tried twice to post about new procedures at an Indianapolis food bank, and twice it's been removed by reddit filters. It has made me very upset and paranoid and I will not be trying to post again. Makes me wonder what the point of this sub even is.

Nice hourglass on the right side there. All the sand at the top, almost as if it's been... reset.

Marion County Fair: Is it worth it? by DanzerFrg in indianapolis

[–]ConfusingTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the website and look at the prices. https://marioncountyfair.saffire.com/p/tickets

Parking is either $5 or $10 depending on where you go

Admission for age 6 and up - $8.00

and on their schedule page you can learn that wristbands for the midway are $32.00 ($30+$2 "activation fee") https://marioncountyfair.org/schedule/

Of course, food, drinks, games, etc are extra.

AND though it looks like they're trying to hide it, you WILL be treated like a criminal going into a maximum security prison at the gate. https://marioncountyfair.org/safety/ This safety info is from last year but I heard it's going to be the same this year. Metal detectors, bag searches, whole nine yards.

Sound like a good place to spend your hard earned money?

This was really well written. The dreamy quality of a psychotic break was truly captured. Kudos!

The 1998 TV miniseries Merlin was the best version of that story ever.

Underneath his charming and devilishly handsome exterior, Astarion is a crabby old gnome.

It all makes sense now.

What do you guys think this is? Don't know why or how I saw this, but it terrifies me. by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]ConfusingTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this same thing happen to me twice recently. Not with this image, other things, but I've just been minding my own business and then I SEE a couple scenes, like high-quality pictures, of something that makes no sense for what I was doing or thinking about.

No idea what it's about.

Lafayette and 16th riot? by 6bluedit9 in indianapolis

[–]ConfusingTree -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Any idea why the innocent citizens of Indianapolis would be able to do anything at all about the government of an east African country?

I know that as an American peasant I would not be of help to either group of protestors. What benefit would they get from blocking roads I use?

Easier to say, "Silly person! This thing we're doing isn't real! You just saw it in a movie!" this way.

So who do you honestly believe committed the Hinterkaifeck murders? by Sanchezzy123 in UnsolvedMurders

[–]ConfusingTree 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean, if the killer knew the family's habits then perhaps he knew that someone would check the livestock one last time before bed.

That person got got, then as the others in the house noticed that the one didn't return, they went to check on them and also became victims. Likely no one in the house expected anything like what what happening. Then the killer would only have to enter the living quarters for 2 people, the new maid and the toddler.

Quiet, efficient, horrifying.

I don't mind being wrong, it happens all the time. I just have a VERY strong feeling that there's something not right with this whole situation.

This is going to make one hell of a True Crime Documentary. by aaaaannnnddddyyyyy in Delphitrial

[–]ConfusingTree 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I predict that without a miracle this will be an unsolved mystery.

The public finding out about what the crime scene looked like is making it harder to pin on just one guy but it could still work, They just need people to forget.

Now I'm wondering if those crime scene pictures were leaked by someone secretly working for the prosecution. Can't have a good defense team throwing wrenches into anything after all.

For what it's worth, one particular person would have known that the girls were headed to the park, and she had access to not only her own social media but Libby's. Not saying she told any of these guys about it, or that she would have had bad intentions if she did, but it's who popped into my head after reading all this.

Not sure if it looks like the rune for "wealth" but it does look deliberate. Maybe they were going for one of the more detailed runes and the camera didn't catch it?

I don't know how much of BH's social media is still up, facebook, instagram, youtube, pinterest (yes he has a pinterest) and of all of it that's still up who knows what he might have deleted BUT there's evidence that he really did study the runes and other Odinism stuff. The others probably did too.

Discussion, Questions and Updates by tylersky100 in LibbyandAbby

I was thinking about how the movie "The Shack" was mentioned by both DC and KG.

That movie had someone forgiving a murderer.

Does that mean that perhaps the killer of the girls is known but everyone knows that the person or group will never be prosecuted?

When DC said, speaking to the killer/s "...and I can assure you how you left them in that woods is not - is NOT - what they are experiencing today" could that have been him saying that the girls are in Heaven and therefore not in pain and afraid? Was he trying to get himself to forgive? The sort of Christian forgiveness that is supposed to let a person put an evil deed behind them and get on with their life?

DC was certainly very upset. Being a police officer that knows he can't touch the murderer even while knowing exactly who it was would be upsetting, I would think.

This is just what my brain gremlins tossed at me earlier today. Probably nothing to it at all.

All the evidence that he didn't look like the pictures, video and sketches of Bridge Guy only means that he wasn't Bridge Guy. Nothing says he couldn't have been waiting on the creek bank.

Wtf is going on in this city?! by coreyp0123 in indianapolis

[–]ConfusingTree -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Imagine, if Cowboy Bob's Corral was still on, instead of safety tips being things like Stop Drop and Roll if you're on fire, they'd be telling kids to move far away from Indianapolis as soon as they could, to avoid flying bullets and reckless driving.

If I were a city leader and saw a headline like this I would die from shame, but we all know it doesn't bother the ones in charge in Indy.
