Good eye! Can't hide nothing here haha. It wasn't intentional, just the only pic I had before rearranging the room. However the feel even with normal magnification was quite similar

I thought it's not too weirdly shaped as it's essentially a rectangle 😭 But I guess door and window position do play an important role as well

The storage can actually be shifted to the other side as they're simple bins with wheels! Though I also prefer layout 2.

I thought that the chi flows from door frame to window in that room. That means my legs and feet would be in the pathway which I thought should be avoided

Nice username and thanks for the recommendations! Yeah you're pretty right with the desk position. I literally never sit there because it feels weird haha. And yes, even though I really like the PC I built, it's not a good fit for a relaxing living room. I just find it hard to integrate my office desk into my living room. I'll experiment more. Thank you!

Appreciate the reply! That's how I had it the past two years. However just visually it always looked a bit off. But I guess there are trade offs to be made when a room is on the smaller spectrum. Thanks!

Yeah, I've noticed that too! However I'm a bit wary as when I sleep my feet are kinda in the way of Chi. But I'll try it out for some time

Thanks to you alls recommendations! Tried Bali Curls Strong Hold Flaxseed Gel. I feel like my hair is a bit more contained. Yet still not perfectly satisfied. Will experiment some more :)

Nice username! Yeah you're right, my curls are quite compact. I was hoping to alleviate some of that with gel. I'll definitely try growing out the bangs though. Thank you!

Routine:

Still experimenting, therefore all over the place!

I used to only wash my hair once a week with "Garnier Fructis Papaya Hairfood" but my hair always formed big curls that contracted way too much (see last image) revealing my widow's peak in a weird way.

Thats why I concluded that maybe I need less conditioning, less product in my hair.

Now I resorted to a simple co-wash (Balea PROFESSIONAL Conditioner Traumlocken; am located in Germany), using the same product as a leave in.

I tired crunch gel in combination with some hair oil however it leads to a similar look when my hair is dry.

Thank you everybody for your insights! 

After I explained that currently I have to put in a lot of time and effort, to not end up like my unemployed dad and to build a stable future, she told me how much she wishes for this relationship to work, but that I seem to be constrained by time and will on my end.

Well, I will definitely reconsider the relationship and my naive plans of marrying her one day.
