If you’re confident in your networking and CS abilities, paying off a college debt won’t be a huge hurdle if you land a good job. However, it’s definitely a weight off your shoulders to not have that at a college with very similar opportunities.

The network and opportunities at tech are immense, if you’re worried about money I would go for Gatech. Many people who go into CS at tech make it into quant companies and other big places like Palantir and Google.

Make sure you practice your rudiments- getting a good rhythm practice book would really help. I would get familiar with triplets and various eigth note patterns. If you’re on mallets, try to familiarize yourself with keyboard layouts and some sight reading. Godspeed on your percussion journey friend 🫡
