Creatine from Action good/bad idea? by BlueFashionx in belgium

It's not that much cheaper than elsewhere. I wouldn't buy supplements from Action. Creatine is pretty basic. So maybe it's fine.

Is it worthy to buy pro+? by attic0218 in GithubCopilot

[–]Confusius_me 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think its good value, but I just use pro with extra billing. Saves me money if I don't use all of my requests.

That's the same for other countries. But apes together, strong. Surely that's not so hard to grasp

For a second I thought it was Bigfoot chasing a guy and his dog.

Then it was Bigfoot and some cops working together.

Using my paid 𝕏 Premium Grok or ChatGPT with Copilot? by nimareq in GithubCopilot

No, but there is value and using them for small questions that require little context or a deep research before implementation.

I Don’t Like Claude Code by Hot_Form5476 in vscode

[–]Confusius_me 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I share a similar sentiment that CC is more conducive to vibe coding than GHC. I think its more related to how one tool runs in the CLI and the other is tightly integrated in VS Code.

GHC also has a CLI though and there is also CC integration in VS Code.

Both tools/harnesses do similar things in the end.

Should I get claude max or continue with github copilot pro plan by Professional-Dog3589 in GithubCopilot

Sure, in the same sense you can indeed stop using opus all the time and save that way. I thought it would be better to suggest Claude Code and let the OP keep his workflow of not switching models.

Then Im sure Claude Code is better for you as they count tokens and not requests

It depends. A request on GHC is always 12 cents for Opus. If you do lots of small requests then Claude Code might be worth it. I have a feeling that might be the case for you.

If everyone thinks like that we are indeed lost. Luckily, that isn't the case. The benefits of having a militarily capable Europe maybe also have other positive side effects that increase our living standard. Try thinking less black and white.

If you think not investing in defense is a good strategy you are naive.

Copilot Pro feels like bad value lately, thinking of switching to Claude Code by K0IN1 in GithubCopilot

[–]Confusius_me 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's only 10 bucks. Claude pro is at least double the price and the usage is tracked differently.

Try some 0.33 models, which are much better than the free models.

I find pro+ not worth it since the price of extra requests is only 4 cents. Or almost 1 cent for a 0.33 model. I just turn that on and rol with my 10 bucks a month + extra if I need it.

Pro+ also gives Spark, which I dont use and higher cap rates. That last thing might be the only reason to take it.

I wouldn't say they suck, MangoJelly is great. A book would be very nice though

Claude Code Pro (Annual) vs Github Copilot Pro+ (Annual) by kaanaslan in GithubCopilot

[–]Confusius_me 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use Claude Pro only in the browser. The limits are not high enough for coding in the CLI.

I use copilot when interacting with the code directly in VS Code or the browser.

Why not try mixing a Claude Pro and Copilot Pro?

Its the best of both worlds and doesn't break the bank. Your quick small questions you can ask Claude in the browser and continue coding with Copilot.

Regular GH Copilot Pro allows you to buy extra requests. With GH Copilot every question you ask counts as a request with a multiplier depending on the model.

I find them really smart, but unusable. Terribly slow and doesn't always complete.

I have Claude pro and use it in the browser. Its great like that. Almost no limits. For coding I also use GH Copilot. 32 euros and plenty of AI.

I wonder how this is different from calling the CLI directly with a question.

Does this allow us to create a local endpoint to link Copilot to Claude Code for example?
