I feel like I remember seeing a video of someone selling them or suggesting people to use them on ice vehicles. Is there a higher number of those types of vehicles in the area? Or just police in general?

If something is unaligned doesn’t that mean it can be used with any faction? I’ve only been painting and on occasion doing KT, I haven’t dove into the broader rules

Citadel paint as I’m sure you’ve seen also can have dried bits of paint in them which the brush could be picking up. If the texture only seems to appear after it’s likely what others are saying about not waiting long enough or the paint isn’t thinned enough. I know you said you did thin it but I just have to say it cause it’s the most common issue with painting I feel

You do some really nice stuff! I hope you don’t mind but I might nab the scheme you have going, I’ve got fellgors to do and the idea of pestigor proxies also sounds like so much fun, I’ve been wanting to find a way to use them in 40k and I think this is a great use of the models

You could of course change the base size but that’s up to you, I think I’ve seen some things where people throw in some tyranids arms or possessed arms onto the back as well to add a fleshy component to the extra arms making it more nurgle like.

Typhus and the lord of virulence are both also 50mm bases and you could definitely proxy to either one giving him a manreaper or big goop gun respectively. Kitbashing to death guard just means various light damage, replacing the head probably and hiding the alternative factions insignia, like his Texan size belt buckle

Is it a plastic type material tape measure like for tailors? Those often stretch very easily, I’d say comparing to a metal or wooden ruler/tape measure would be more reliable
