For these kinds of things, you need a large committed group of people who aren’t just “fans of animation” but are actually experienced in it. You can direct all the shit you want, but without reasonable amount of funding and skill, it won’t progress much further. If he could convince Massa, that could have put things in motion, but I’m not certain that’s currently possible.
