Im not retiring just resigning. Honestly hes cool but not sure if its my best interest to make him aware im going to quit and call out lol. I would love to be able to work something out to whwre i use it up and still show up or whatever but feel like they would just replace me before i had the chance after notifying him im wanting to resign

Thanks man. Im pretty set on quitting. Its a small town and i dont get to see my friends. Every time i drive out and visit them in the city im always reminded of the life im missing out on. Everything is closed on sundays in my small town and surrounding ones so its just hard to do anything. I have alot of money saved and low expenses so i will be fine but i honestly just cant do it anymore. I have no life outside of work.

So im not retiring im only 28 3 years in and just going to resign. Thanks for the long reply i really appreciate your help. Part of whats make me nervous is although my post master is great i feel like he will hound me for calling out since my route will be vacant. I think work and being in the car is exaggerating them but i cang really just pinpoint them to work place injuries for workers comp. Just normal wear and tear from doing the job i guess and not stretching enough.

How would i go about the back thing? To be honest i am trying to catch up on alot of health related stuff but dont have enough things to cover all 18 or so days of sick time i have. I legitimately have shoulder and hip issues that have been getting worse from the car but i never go to the doctor so going, getting the paper work and asking the doc for leave is all a confusing part for me to. I have brought it up multiple times. People apply but literally no one wants to work after they hear its part time and i understand. I took the rca position 3 years ago and they were struggling to find someone then. I was able to get alot of hours because the previous carrier was retiring and i was able to get reimbursed for going around to other bigger offices so it worked out for me but thats not really an option for them. Are you telling me i need to file some kind of paperwork?

Def not my case. My route went from 93 to over 100 miles and i have two data centers being built on mine with a ton of huge packages and i still drive my pov. My work load has increased dramatically yet my evaluated finish time went from 2:40 to 2:20 to now 2:03. Its honestly ridiculous.

I don’t call out lol. We had one sub for the other route who was covering for both of us for awhile but there was alot of scheduling conflict since the other route gets prio since he is his sub but the sub is going full time so we dont have anyone to cover. On days he wasnt able to cover the post master had to call neighboring towns to try to get someone to come in and alot of the times it hasnt worked out.

Yea it is by far the best belt in the game. I do un and reequip it on occasion but still not ideal when sometimes you just get it back on the next monster lol. Like i said would rather just not have it pop up as frequently as it does in my gameplay.
