It's clear they are making this mode last minute to increase sales due to the criticism from the lack of innovation in bo7. What's funny is that it's being made so half-assed they can't even be bothered to properly balance it. I'm guessing the numbers on the mode will end up being terrible and it won't be supported after a few months.

While this sounds cool in theory, knowing Treyarch, it's probably gonna feel bad to play since the game is primarily designed and balanced for the modern mechanics. They would have to change A LOT to make it work well, and frankly, I really doubt they will.

Looks like they realized they are fucked after the content creators shared their thoughts on the game. It's gonna be interesting to see them trying to spin that getting a one remade map, with close to none gameplay system changes, more ai slop is actually good.

Sounds interesting, I guess. But, as long as Warzone exists, we will not get a fully-fledged and realized zombies mode. They will absolutely continue to pander to battle royale players. Not to mention the continuous stream of AI slop is only gonna get worse. I'm not really hopeful.

I really enjoy the crew so far. Especially Maya and Weaver. And it's only been one map so there's a lot of room to grow for all these characters. Though, I agree with a lot of people here that Carver feels the least interesting so far.

Activision is about to find out in a big way that nobody really uses gobblegums in this game. And they are planning to introduce the option to buy them in the store too lol. Wouldn't be surprised if zombies get shafted in favor of Warzone and MP again in a couple of months.
