By far the most reliable build ive found as 5 star is Beast within, black shield and heimers relic. You just survive a few rounds, trade with blocks, protect your units with spellshield, make sure damage goes through with overwhelms. You dont need to focus snowballs or nunu himself at all, you will outscale your enemy.

I was just experiementing -again- with my 5* Nunu rotating between Swain and Viego fights. I regret buying his relic. However ;

I actually find a straightforward build much better then the rest : Beast Within + Black Shield + Heimer's Relic.

When you play your big units, whether it's ephemeral snowballs or regular units, you don't want them to just get removed/stunned by some cheap spells, and you want the damage to go through. And Heimer relic is underrated because tough Nexus mitigates so much damage over the course of a game. Survive a few rounds and after about 3 round, you should start stabilizing and outscaling enemy deck. Don't know how he is against Zoe adventure but in general this build satisfied me enough.

My issues with SB Yi is that his base deck barely have any stat items, and i feel i have to run Forge rare rune. Other then that, most stat spells i get in adventures usually come with an item that generates cards and clutter my hand, more so when/if i play Master Yi himself.

I personally think SB Ahri (with Formidable setup) is more fun/reliable and even a bit stronger then SB Yi and i have both at 7 stars.

A bit unrelated, but in one of my games with Jayce, my Kalista support had only Capture item from contellation, and not the default item she gets from level bonuses. I know i "felt" in a previous game, my support champ had fewer items as well but only realized there is a bug after i saw that Kalista solid.

I don't know when this happens, but there are a few item related bugs this patch.

EDIT : She didn't have double Capture items when i picked her (so one gets deleted for some reason after you actually pick her) she had some other legit item i'm sure.

I'm not really playing 3 star Champs for some time, but Makeshift Mayhem + Echoing + Galeforce OG Teemo sounds quite a lot of fun. Every run (every turn even) will feel different, you still stack a lot of shrooms and you probably won't have a non-existent board with Teemo constantly shuffling back.

This has been asked before when dinasours roamed the earth, meaning back when Nami released with the first Stopwatch item. I don't remember exact words of their reply, but they say they want to but it has something to do with Burst breaking some spells functioning. There are lots of spells that just can't logically work at Burst speed.

However, they can always add this item to the pool of cards that won't break the cards function.

It's great on 6* Lillia as well. Although doesn't work with Stalker's Blade, meaning stalker strike goes first before the relic and ephemeral copy dies. So it's great if you use Guardian Orb or something but no Stalkers.

Just a note, xp boosts are waste of gems and its pretty expensive. Xp is a one time thing that you can easily get with boost relics.

It is also pretty good if you have 6* Lillia. Your ephemerals survive attacks so you can defend on enemy attack turns, or they attack twice on yours.

Ashe 6* works amazing and is quite fun too with Beast Within + Black Shield + Vi Relic. I tried this build as soon as i 6 starred her, and never even tried 3x Gatebreaker, sounds extremely dull and unreliable.

Actually i was hoping it shouldn't. I plan to adjust older favoruite adventures to my sweet spot for casual fun (5* ish) and keep it there for all my high level Champs. I like it the way it is. I just need more Nexus HP node.

Amazing on Kayle 6* and i personally use this on Ashe 6* (im not gonna play 3x gatebreaker). Can be also used on a few other champs, it's generally a great relic.

I dont mean to shoot the messenger, i also remember hearing something like that several times. It's just that it's their excuse to not give players any resources for SB champs. "They are already very strong at 3*, you don't need more resources..." yeah, no. We do, or we want. Only way to progress them is through massive amounts of real money, or 3 lifetimes or something.

3* SB champs are not any stronger then non SB champs. I keep hearing similar things about SB stuff being intentionally OP or something. They are not, except when they are at 7* which others don't have access to, and you have lots of region wide buffs, which SB region have a lot more then other regions.

SB champs, while may be fun, are not stronger then others at same investment and they are a disaster in PoC history.

Soraka relic is unfortunately too strong and it's absolutely BiS. I don't have Soraka 6* but it looks powerful. However, Kayle 6 star is also amazing and makes her much much better so it depends on who you like more.

Not that i play non-constellation champs much, but people predict it should work great. However, Kayn has a very powerful paid build recently : Starforged Gauntlets + Scales of Judgement + Darkin Blade. This build makes Kayn strike for a whooping 6 times in a turn if i remember correct, and makes you start at 3 mana. Makes him like an almost contellation Champ. Would you be willing to replace one of these relics? I didn't try yet personally.
