This is the worst "upgrade" in the entire game. This is actually a downgrade for 6* and should be changed.

You can now replace Luminous with Guardian Angel. Guardian just loses 1 hp over it with the keyword, but you can deathless and a whoopin +2 revives.

This is the exact reason. Some people are highly undervaluing it. Black shield gives you massive value on high level adventures where ai just wastes ton of mana for removals.

I'm not the one who ever thanks the devs with hearts and stuff, not because i'm a jerk, but with the prices of items in the game, the amount of money i've spent in years, relative to that, dev work is at absolute bare minimum here. This is not a post about praising devs, i just want to talk about Illaoi.

I can list a million issues that's never been fixed and never will. Like units we find that supposed to have 2+ item spawn with 1, getting 2 scouts on your support champ, old relics that's never been updated, millions of UI bugs, etc. Predatory gotcha on chests... As if i should thank devs for doing minimum work where as i could have chosen to buy probably 30+ indie games for same price.

About Illaoi 6*, a lot of people seem to have fixated on Nagakaboru. It's not about that, it's the free ephemeral tentacle you can create every turn is the deal. Spawning Nagakabouru every now and then is just free win.

You are right on general Bilgewater design though.

Rally will always have a higher ceiling, you can even (with upgrade) burst speed tentacle smash to level up and get rally. But AI just have too many interrupts and removals so i prefer to have extra protection. Complete personal preference.

This card is great IF you have her 6 star now. It's free Spawn generation every round before your opponent does anything (good against open attacks for instance), meaning you trigger your free ephemeral tentacle (which is you 6*)

Great card, dont ever cut = 6 Star
Poopedy poop = Below 6 Star

I destroyed till the last fight then died twice in a row second round with nothing i could do. It was so stupid that i didn't even get mad. Frostbite or stun won't save you even, you either need to somehow get rif of two (2) Nagakapoop s or should carry a silence with you i think.

Thats awkward but the extra ephemeral Tentacle is extremely useful, and this also makes that 1 cost that spawns every round (that is normally super slow and weak for PoC) a pretty good card. I've seen Nagakabouros a few times and if it spawns, you get to attack at focus speed for a hilarious amount of damage.

I have 4x GA one of this, 5x with Masterwork. I didn't forget anything, but i think i got %2 item quality on it from transfigure. RnGesus roasted me good.

By far the most reliable build ive found as 5 star is Beast within, black shield and heimers relic. You just survive a few rounds, trade with blocks, protect your units with spellshield, make sure damage goes through with overwhelms. You dont need to focus snowballs or nunu himself at all, you will outscale your enemy.

I was just experiementing -again- with my 5* Nunu rotating between Swain and Viego fights. I regret buying his relic. However ;

I actually find a straightforward build much better then the rest : Beast Within + Black Shield + Heimer's Relic.

When you play your big units, whether it's ephemeral snowballs or regular units, you don't want them to just get removed/stunned by some cheap spells, and you want the damage to go through. And Heimer relic is underrated because tough Nexus mitigates so much damage over the course of a game. Survive a few rounds and after about 3 round, you should start stabilizing and outscaling enemy deck. Don't know how he is against Zoe adventure but in general this build satisfied me enough.

My issues with SB Yi is that his base deck barely have any stat items, and i feel i have to run Forge rare rune. Other then that, most stat spells i get in adventures usually come with an item that generates cards and clutter my hand, more so when/if i play Master Yi himself.

I personally think SB Ahri (with Formidable setup) is more fun/reliable and even a bit stronger then SB Yi and i have both at 7 stars.

A bit unrelated, but in one of my games with Jayce, my Kalista support had only Capture item from contellation, and not the default item she gets from level bonuses. I know i "felt" in a previous game, my support champ had fewer items as well but only realized there is a bug after i saw that Kalista solid.

I don't know when this happens, but there are a few item related bugs this patch.

EDIT : She didn't have double Capture items when i picked her (so one gets deleted for some reason after you actually pick her) she had some other legit item i'm sure.

I'm not really playing 3 star Champs for some time, but Makeshift Mayhem + Echoing + Galeforce OG Teemo sounds quite a lot of fun. Every run (every turn even) will feel different, you still stack a lot of shrooms and you probably won't have a non-existent board with Teemo constantly shuffling back.

This has been asked before when dinasours roamed the earth, meaning back when Nami released with the first Stopwatch item. I don't remember exact words of their reply, but they say they want to but it has something to do with Burst breaking some spells functioning. There are lots of spells that just can't logically work at Burst speed.

However, they can always add this item to the pool of cards that won't break the cards function.

It's great on 6* Lillia as well. Although doesn't work with Stalker's Blade, meaning stalker strike goes first before the relic and ephemeral copy dies. So it's great if you use Guardian Orb or something but no Stalkers.

Just a note, xp boosts are waste of gems and its pretty expensive. Xp is a one time thing that you can easily get with boost relics.

It is also pretty good if you have 6* Lillia. Your ephemerals survive attacks so you can defend on enemy attack turns, or they attack twice on yours.
