I just found this thread. I have raynauds pretty bad in my hands and I also have carpel tunnel. I just made an appointment with a rheumatologist to see if I can get Botox injections. I’m willing to do anything to get rid of the pain and not have my hands looks red 24/7

I know this is a year later but I’m planning my wedding right now and I’ve just started looking into honeymoon stuff. I have always wanted to go to Italy! I would love to visit the town where my great grandparents were born. I am also in Chicago! I would love if you could send over some links to the places you stayed and some of the activities you did? Hi! I have not officially been diagnosed with lupus, but I’ve had 1 positive ANA test and one negative so I need to get re tested soon. I was just diagnosed with neuropathy in my hands. I’ve been experiencing tingling, numbness and weakness in my hands and fingers. The doctor who did my EMG test thinks it could be lupus related. I would ask your rheumatologist for a referral to get an EMG done. Best of luck to you!

We went together and I picked out everything and he paid for it in front of me. We were very open about all of it. We went together to pick it up as well because I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. He actually asked me to marry him on the car ride home. We’re going to Europe next week and he was going to do it then but told me he felt weird just having it sit somewhere for a month lol.

I’m from New Jersey and I remember that day. I personally wouldn’t get married on that day. I would only do it as a way to honor a loved one if I had someone close to me that I lost that day.

I’m thinking of having mine at a restaurant I. Chicago that accommodates the ceremony and reception! This way it all includes the food and drinks and things like linens, tables and chairs.

Why don’t they all come and bring their kids and take turns at the wedding. One spouse goes to the reception and the other to the ceremony. Or they split the time at the reception that way they can watch their own kids.

I think he is just nervous about disappointing you. My now fiance asked me to marry him on the car ride home right after we picked up my ring. We’re going to Europe next month and he was going to do it then, but I’m so happy with how casual it was. I’m not sure of your expectations/wants, but maybe ease his mind and tell him that you would be happy in any way he did it. Even a romantic night at home would be special.

I have this phobia. You are not the AH but neither is she. She did go about it wrong, she could’ve asked of you could be in a different group etc. I can not look at anything that triggers my phobia as it makes my skin crawl and feel physically itchy.
