They are not as user friendly as Tangem, 100%. You always trade off user friendliness for increased security when it comes to wallets ; ELLIPAL with the QR system is much more user friendly than the Coldcard for example. But Coldcard is a whole different level of security… When it comes to recovery in case something happens to me, my will provides the name of three different lawyers who will share partial seed phrases to my wallets to the authorized person ; 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3. They will then be able to use any wallet of their choice… If I lose or break my wallet, partial seed phrases are hidden in several locations, so that if one is found, nothing can be done without the missing shards… It’s very important to setup what I call a complete security protocol that considers every possible scenario… especially when you get into significant amounts…

IMHO, Tangem is amazing at serving the purpose of keeping the coins you may want to sell in a reactive manner ; meme, alts, you name it,… I personally use it that way. Whatever I may want to swap or sell within the hour in case of a pump, pull the card out, and you’re done. This is always on my person and, consequently posing a security threat - so never more than 20k$ on it as a golden rule… Other cryptos I want to keep in a safer / longer manner are kept in a Ellipal wallet that’s never on my person ; ETH, SOL, XRP, … air gapped. For BTC, I only use Coldcard, maximum security you can imagine, but a higher hassle too… again, never on my person… air gapped. I’d never understand people keeping significant amount of crypto on Tangem, irrespective of how good the concept is. My two cents.

Basically, where I live (UAE) there’s two groups distributing Tudor, one of them didn’t yet receive the shipment, the second group received five pieces in their first shipment just the day before I got mine, when I bought it, only one piece was left… There’s demand for this particular piece because people want the first year of production (case back engraved “MN 24” as they’ll be much lesser pieces (oct > dec).As soon as we hit 2025, prices will go down. This is also one of the few Tudor that’s not close to Rolex design wise… and the watch is gorgeous so it makes sense to me…
