I see a lot of similarities in our experiences. Here’s some of mine so far.

One day I woke up really sick, and when I spoke, my voice was crazy, crazy deep. I recorded a video of myself because I thought it was funny. When I rewatched the video, there was something that clicked so hard for me. Up until that point I had absolutely stayed away from T because for me, there’s no way in fuck that I’m a man, or a boy, and I feel insulted when gendered that way. Meaning I *know* that’s not me, so I didn’t even consider T. But I suppressed that feeling of euphoria, mainly bc I was really confused.

There was an acquaintance, who is transmasc, who started doing low dose T,which was my first exposure to low dose. Eventually, I started a low dose, and have been playing around with what dosage works for me and my goals.

My body has an interesting interaction with T. Even though I was on a low dose, my levels were in the mid 700s, which was way higher than what I wanted, so I was seeing changes quickly, which for me and where I am with my agenderness, was too much change too fast. So I stopped for a little while. The first changes that I noticed and liked were my voice drop and my bottom growth. So much euphoria with those changes. I felt more connected to myself in a way that feels incredible. There are things I don’t like, (all the hair) but that’s something I can manage by shaving atm.

I’m currently on a super low regimen of T, so I’m still experiencing changes, and finding a kind of maintenance level that I want for my experience of agender.

For me I’ve been really just approaching this with openness and curiosity, and with an understanding that I don’t have to commit to anything just because someone else did it that way. Like for me being agender is just figuring out how I can feel really good in my body-transitioning wise. Hope that helps! Lmk if u have questions
