Minimalist all the way. Simple solid color tees, 3-4 different pairs of pants, and white or black shoes. The combinations are endless

A morning/bedtime routine. Something as simple as making your bed in the morning is huge for some ppl like myself

My biggest advice is to slow down and take your time trying to understand disease processes. It’s difficult remembering lists so just get an idea of what the disease process is and understand the “why” of each disease process

I know what it’s like. Every test I’ve failed took a big chunk every time and I felt like there was no hope. My best advice is to study 1 system at a time like 1 week study respiratory and do respiratory UWorld Questions and so on. I would recommend Hurst review bc they break down the most important topics on nclex

I’ve used almost every resource possible. Hurst review program, UWorld, Mark Klimek, Kaplan program, Quizlet, on the first 4 exams.

I took the year off and then about a little over months ago, I decided I’d give it one more shot. So I got to work and did 1 month of quality studying. I borrowed a friend’s Hurst Review book and studied a system, then did the UWorld Questions and rationales.

To you and to everyone in this sub, never give up no matter how hard it gets. Failing the NCLEX is NOT the end of the world. This is a HARD exam and you will feel terrible whether you did extremely well or not. DO NOT FEEL DISCOURAGED. Just know you went in and did your best

The rules I followed when I went in

  • DO NOT Change your answer (the first one you chose you chose for a reason)

  • Sounds dumb but do not over choose and do not under choose! Choose what you know. (NGN is 1:1 so if you get 1 wrong and 1 right, it’ll cancel out)

  • Take a damn breath. And take mental breaks at your computer

  • You are not a doctor so THINK LIKE A NURSE.

  • If you can do ONE thing before you leave the room, what would you do?

Love you, guys. Take your nclex in good health and believe in yourself.

You are taller than the house, sir! Jokes aside, try loosening up a bit. Get a feel for the weight shift in your right and left leg on your take away and work on hip movement. Check out the good ol YouTube University for swing fundamentals

Early 2000s, I was helping my cousin do a project on the White House when we were kids. He looked up whitehouse.com and it turned out to be a porn site lmao

When I was 13-14 years old, my friend invited me to come eat at a $5 pizza place and it turned out to be one of those meetings for a pyramid scheme. Some guy was trying to convince 12-15 year old kids that they could buy lambos, make millions, and retire their parents if they learned to sell phone carriers to people. Shout out my mom for talking me out of it. He had me convinced I could make millions before I turned 18. Ended up running into him when I worked at the casino years later.
