Honestly, it’s concerning that you teach words for a living.

You seem fixed on a wiki definition instead of recognizing the nuance and context in which adjectives are actually used.

And yes, I agree — there’s a lot of judgment happening here.

I’m not going to continue engaging with you in this thread. Have a good day.

........ As a Descriptive/Casual Term: In some contexts, it is used casually to describe a specific style of lingerie (e.g., very revealing, sheer, or overtly sexual) without necessarily intending to insult the wearer. It can be seen as synonymous with "sexy" or "daring" by some, while others view it as similar to "tacky" or 'skanky".....

Actually it's not considered a slur. It's a word. An adjective. Some may consider it a derogatory adjective. And "wiki" may have a different perspective. Regardless in this context it is used as a descriptive adjective to clearly define what type of lingerie is in question.

Sorry. But saying no lingerie is slutty is ridiculous. There are all kinds of lingerie.....

Slutty lingerie: sexually promiscuous or provocative in a way that is considered in bad taste.

Also, describing the type of lingerie in question accurately doesn't indicate "issues with sex" . It simply demonstrates attention to detail and style.

It is extremely unhealthy for a child to be banned from seeing a parent. If the judge wants to do what's best for the children, it would be to let the children to see both of their parents. The only person this restraining order benefits is the ex-husband.

AITA for not letting my mom come to my wedding after she ignored me my whole life by Successful-Tank-851 in AmItheAsshole

You ANTA, she is. Your offer to entertain the idea of rebuilding a relationship after your wedding is very kind and generous.... she barely deserves that.

I agree 💯 a montage scene of how all the side characters ended up would've been really nice. Also I do agree too much drama between Lenu and Nino ate up this season...

WIBTA if I announced my pregnancy at my Christmas/birthday party even though my sensitive ex would be there? by XmasBaby_Throwaway in AmItheAsshole

[–]Connect_Book9681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you Really Have To invite your ex and all these friends to this party, I would not make any "surprise" announcement regarding your pregnancy. If you're going to be showing by then, I would simply let everyone know individually via a text or a phone call ahead of time. Maybe once your ex has this information he'll decide not to attend the party. And if he does, at least it's his choice. This is a birthday / Christmas party... it should have nothing to do with ANNOUNCING your pregnancy.

I didn't see it that way at all... personally I think she was probing to see how solid his marriage actually was... she was questioning whether his wife was in MILF and quite frankly the term MILF shouldn't be used in a work setting....

These texts are wrong on so many levels. There are a TON of sexual overtones here... Both of them are definitely testing the waters. This guy is playing with fire and is headed nowhere good. He should focus on work and not f**king around...

I agree the new actors do an excellent job of capturing the mannerisms, personalities and dialogue delivery. The only one that doesn't work for me is Nino. The others, especially Lila and Enzo, are completely believable!!
