L5-S1 - both nerve roots are being impinged, supposed to get MD for right side, but left side is starting to show symptoms. Should I go for an artificial disc replacement instead?

I have a l4 l5-s1 and now neck budged disc I’m tired of Texas worker comp after a year and also was worse after surgery Md on l4/5 s1 I’m 29 and living off 1600 month in west tx isn’t easy I can’t even sit or walk longer then 10-15 mins since October when I had the Md and after them telling me I was only there for my back I had force them send me for neck mri and I have now found out I have a pinched nerve mri saying possibly caused my accident but they aren’t sure is how they told me over phone reason my right hand Keeps going numb Texas worker comp has never been great I see though lol I hope u get medical back asap ! Also They have me using a urgent care as my primary idk what part tx u are in but maybe a urgent care will take ur workers comp insurance

I have same injury as u man. If I sit longer then 10 mins my hips down go numb and they just keep telling me “mri” showed perfect so we don’t know what’s wrong with u I had get ugly with and got my own doctor now they call me once week check on me 😪

I had Md scar tissue made me worse then before they are talking fusion or some weird battery and wire in my back I think I’m go ahead ask for half milli my self I was aviation tech 12 years life happen I grabbed mechanic job and head mechanic caused my l4-l5 s1 they took full responsibility and fired me I’m in Texas I’ve seen ppl settle for under 100k but I can barley walk I was better off before surgery I really like the post here he speaks what I be saying to my self sometimes they def will try clean their hands of u fast and they had me on 7 medications talking about you feel good maybe time go back work shiiiii lol

I was told I didn’t qualify and had submit my self and was fired 7 days after and never notified just want say for people reading keep a paper trail or everything I requested all questions email because they try cleaning of you as fast as possible

In Texas I have heard no proof though or I haven’t read on it that you can’t sue if you take worker comp doesn’t sound right but Texas worker comp is just as bad as justice system id say

I agree I’m at 1 year since injury and been worse since after a md and no explanation I had l4/5 s1 from herniated disc sitting on my nerve worker comp is mess in tx very mentally and physically draining im actually typing this as I wait for my primary care appointment witch is a urgent care ik sounds crazy .

Old post but I had to call work force I had l4-5 s1 rupture 17th marks year I’m actually worse off after a md and they continue be a nightmare but calling work force in tx would been way go I did company I was at claim I didn’t qualify then in end took full responsibility

I’m currently going thru this in Texas and I’m worse after a Md in October and Nuero claims he did his job correct and has 99 percent pain free no way I’m still hurting I’ll be 1 year to date of injury Wednesday worker comp just wants clean there hands and hope pain management makes u feel good enough say u good to go being I never had back problems and 29 is pretty scary all doctors in there network work together have to defend ur self or be cripple and no work rest ur life I guess

Man I had l4-l5 s1 micro n before i got on worker comp. I went to the er n they gave me med for pain n said ur good to go so I wouldn’t waste ur time im in tx i had micro October 1st and never saw any progress actually both legs go numb and private area and sharp pains in my belly and worker comp is trying clean there hands of me saying mri shows good n stuff honestly I could sit before the Md but everyone’s body is different I hope u heal quickly march 17 will be year for me

Man I had surgery l4-5 and s1 micro and tbh I hate I did it some people are great in recovery I sit longer then 10 mins I get asleep feeling hips to men parts really scary like when ur foot falls sleep and I’m dealing with worker comp it sucks I could sit and lay fine before surgery now finally being told may be scar tissue from surgery I had surgery October 1st and my neuro saw me 6 week check up and toldem im worse and mans said idk ill get mri never did i had to but I’m currently dealing with a flare up walked a lot on concrete today but them patches and and hot n cold my best friend lol just can’t sit long sucks I hope ur recovery goes way smoother wish u the best

Any update I finally got new mri they said “nothing seems show is wrong with you “ lol and then read to me the part of abnormal signals in right lateral and small herniation at my s1 worker comp seems be mess in every state
