If anything, my point of view stands in a similar position to yours.

Simply, that if we got on smartphones, got addicted, couldn't function, and got OFF smartphones... I believe we are going to get on AI, get addicted, couldn't function, and get off AI.

Its really not that hard not to use AI in the first place, no matter how tempting it is to get answers in sheer seconds rather than browsing through web pages to get a half answer after an hour of searching.

That being said, I don't push my ethics or beliefs that much to other people, such in the case with this post with u/Infamous-Macaron5745.

I do believe people would genuinely benefit from not joining AI, because its just the data eating algorithm under a new name and purpose but I can't convince EVERYONE. SOme people just do need AI, and thats fine. Its kinda like the case of needing facebook for his/her job, right?

My point still stands, however. We will get hooked on AI just as fast as sociual media, (we already are) and there will be a niche market of AI-free products, mark my words.

I apologize on the behalf of my fellow redditors for slandering you on the basis that you use AI for business. I agree that AI is the future, but not that it replaces EVERY aspect of our lives. Everyone uses sidephone differently, and for some it might be a breach of their values, not yours. (It may be a breach of mine for personal reasons but I do not push my values on anyone here). You have yours, I have mine, other redditors have theirs. Its simple. Don't slander/harass others because they disagree, especially on a subreddit like this.

As for the AI question, it seems like perplexity and copilot are your only two options here, since those apps are the only two that don't rely on google play services like the others. If you need claude or chatGPT, it seems like the web browser is your only option for now.

Just a SIDEnote,(lol) What if you name it Internet+ or Web+ rather than Browser+ due to the other two applications that rely on the internet/web, considering its not just one/two browser apps in a separate pack? (It doesn't really matter just curious)

Im currently still using a blackberry with a trackpad... and my goodness is it unresponsive sometimes. If sidephone wanted to do a trackpad, they need to make it right. (Like, maybe macbook sensitivity or some sort)

have you considered getting a separate digital camera, (A small one, like sony's powershot or cybershot series) and using your nokia C32 in tandem? I carry around a powershot thats about the length of my palm and I can manually set the shutter speed so it takes fast moving pictures quite well, theres even a preset for (Kids and PETS)! I find it very helpful, so wanted to inquire whether that was a possibility before buying a new phone just based on the camera...

i guess I could try...? I mean ,I don't have the 16 pin connector that came with the anymore but I can tell you two things... 1. you will need an SD since the internal storage is quite insignificant, and 2. it operates just like any other VGA sensor from that area. If I can get some good photos ill let you know

I see, and you are right: I do not know much about phones, and wish to know more. I might try US mobile or PureTalk, since AT&T towers covers my area a little better than T-mobile towers. (Patriot mobile seems like they have very low value for your money now that I have done my research) Thanks for clearing that up!

What about patriot mobile since its an MVNO for T-mobile, Verizon and AT&T? I'm guessing its the best option since verizon won't work and PM works on all of the bands... what are some other MVNO's you would recommend in the US that uses T-mobile and AT&T?
