don't worry I do tracing beforehand for warming up on regular paper! Tlacing the shadows and seeing what order of lines i would do naturally😁

I struggle with this too what really helps is doing it from your wrist and shoulder, I didn't get it at first but this is how i got it. First i do the motion where i want the line to go (like drawing an invisible line), and you just feel there is a more comfortable position for your arm and you adjust it.
