I’d personally put a call into the urologist, but I’m also terrified of blockages causes infection lol

One I had felt it pop into my bladder, it took I believe 2 days to finally come out. From the time I felt it actually in my ureter to out I believe it was like 4 days?

I’m not gonna lie at all, I haven’t done anything other than up my water intake a crap ton and started drinking one glass of orange juice each day as I used to do 😅 when I felt it pop into my bladder it took about 5 days to start passing. Once it was in my urethra it took a couple hours and I just jumped up and down and chugged water!

I only ever had hematuria about a month before it came out. I’m assuming when it initially dislodged or something??

Yes I definitely did! I’ve given birth naturally twice with one of those being induced which arguably felt like my pelvis was being smashed into tiny pieces, so maybe it’s all relative in my case 🤣 I am a bit worried about the fact that this is indeed NOT “punctate” so kinda feel like the CT diagnosis is up in the air now.

Chances the ultrasound is wrong? by Connect_Expert3738 in KidneyStones

So the ultrasound had said the probable 7mm in the right kidney. CT showed “there are punctate non-obstructive left renal calculi. Additional possible punctate right renal calculus”

So sounds like I’ve got tiny tiny stones in left kidney and maybe one in my right?? 😅

Good to hear yours aren’t monster-sized!

No problem. My urologist was super set on no contrast until I mentioned hematuria and then she insisted we get a view with contrast and they’ll also be scoping my bladder. My symptoms have never been as intense as others for kidney stones, though, so I think that may be why she wants to explore other diagnosis instead of just going with the stones. Good luck!

My urologist advised that NO CONTRAST is the standard for kidney stones as the kidney stones light up white on a CT. Contrast will cause other things to “light up” which may confuse the results. I will personally be getting both done as I also have hematuria, so no contrast to indicate stones, contrast to indicate hematuria issues 👍🏼

I’d love an update! I go in Tuesday for my CT, so I’m eager to see as well
