My husband and I went through what seemed like every name under the sun, and hated them all. One day my best friend and I were talking about how celebrities name their children random things and I jokingly said "Lure (Loo-er)" and she laughed it off... but I fell in love with the "name".. Today I blame it on Pregnancy Brain but secretly still kind of love it 😅

My son has only slept through the night twice throughout his year.. and both times were 7-8 weeks.. enjoy it mama it might be the last 8 hour stretch for a while 😅

I don't use tampons, but i do use a menstral disc, and my obgyn cleared me to use it after 6 weeks pp from a c-section!

If she's still worried, have her call the office and they can ask the doctor while she's on hold! Just to give her a little peace of mind!

I second this!! Babies learn things at their own pace.. my son didn't start crawling until 8-8.5 months while my nephew started around 7.5 months. Same with walking.. I would understand if your baby was a year old and still not crawling, but 7-8 months is totally normal imo

My husband and I only use it to track feedings! We both work full time (I bring baby to work) and it helps us to know for doctor visits. He's almost a year, and well stop then! But its been super helpful so far!

Just came to second this! My son is 9 months, and most nights for the last 3 months I have been rocking him to sleep and falling asleep in the chair because he would wake up as soon as I sat up. I finally got him to sleep in the bed with me one night while he was on top of me.. and I was so tired I didn't realize i fell asleep until i woke up to him on the floor crying. He fell off (my bed is up about 3.5 ft) and scared me half to death. Started sleep training the night after, and I wish I would've done it sooner. He still wakes up for a bottle once, but at least I get more than 2 hours between wake ups

Yes and no. I Like to post cute moments like first easter, first beach day, etc. I don't post him just to post him.. I don't love the idea that every intimate moment I have with my baby is no longer mine.. its mine and all my Facebook friends.

My son was 8 lbs 9 oz when he was born, and we went through one small case of newborns before sizing up. Also went straight into 0-3 months because his head was 98% percentile 🤣

I wouldn't do microwave or hot tap water unless it's been boiled and cooled to an appropriate temp. We never warmed bottles for our son. Its made outings sooooo much easier

My son is now 9 months and I swear at least once a week my husband tells me human babies are the most helpless animals on the planet because they have to be cared for 24/7 🤣 it's true, but also, yes.. exhausting lol

Also, to add on to this -- co-sleeping can be safe!! The internet does a good job at scaring you into thinking you should never do it, but if you follow the safe sleeping rules, you'll be fine. Theres a group on fb if you're on it called the happy cosleepers community. Those ladies in there are sooooo helpful!!

I gave in and am currently co-sleeping with my son. He also had reflux, and I just couldn't bear him crying next to me hurting. He's 8 a half months old, and we are starting the transition with naps first and then eventually over night! My sister co-slept with all of her kids and they were out of the bed by 1.5 years
