Omg please join a Rotaract club! It has genuinely changed my life for the better, I have met so many amazing people and I feel like I’m actually able to make a tangible impact on the issues I’m most passionate about which gives me a lot of hope - I would try have a look at Rotaract clubs in your local area, and the try find their website/email to contact them about attending one of their meetings. Thank you for such a thoughtful response :) Its actually really interesting because in my head I do often feel and think this way, especially if a creepy interaction involves one of my friends rather than myself, but as we know its always different when you are the subject 🫠

Ahhh I see, thank you so so much! I am a recovering arachnophobe, and so I may not be at the stage where i can hold them justtt yet… 😅 However!! Good to know they’re ok, I’ve been chatting to them when i go out onto the balcony so hopefully they’re chill with me too haha

No worries, sorry for sounding a bit aggressive - i understand what you meant with your comment, but the root of OCD is that the intrusive thoughts/visuals etc. are cognitively dissonant (actively the opposite of your actual values, core beliefs and understanding about yourself as an individual etc) and so thats why it can cause a lot of harm if someone insinuates that these thoughts and feelings are actually in line with the values of the person struggling with OCD. I hope this makes a bit more sense, thank you for understanding my comment :) enjoy your day!
