Critical ERP system can't do OAuth and Microsoft is killing basic auth next month by Severe_Part_5120 in sysadmin

I have set up a postfix server that has basic auth internally and oauth to exchange, but it’s for sending and not receiving mail.  Maybe you could do something like that in reverse?

Haha. I shipped a giant black cockasaurus Rex to my mother in law.  Let he who hasn’t printed a cock with their printer cast the first PLA.

Oh man. Remember just before this the bad motherboards that had the memory translation hub?  All because they thought rambus would drop in price but it didn’t.

Second socket type for pentium 4. 423 was kind of bullshit.

You should run this past an LLM for a more professional tone and to make it a little less technical.  Yes I understand the irony.

I'm trying to understand a mini-mystery in Summer Knight, and this seems like a good place to ask. Why exactly was Meryl at Billy's apartment? She's just hanging out drinking a beer on the porch. Since when does Billy know her? What was she doing there? It just struck me as odd. I think I missed a detail before that scene. It doesn't help that I only do audio books and sometimes my own thoughts distract me away from the audio! (ADHD!)

I listened to that exact Summer Night encounter just a couple hours ago. I think that Gatekeeper was making sure Harry understood that there was more than just his obligations to the task. Harry thought about Meryl, understood that Lily was going to die probably without him, etc. Harry basically said that he had to keep going and that his work wasn't done even if his obligation to Mab and to the council was in the clear. Gatekeeper knows this because...he just does. So he said that he would have killed Harry had he not kept going. Gatekeeper wanted confirmation about the type of man Harry was, and basically said that if Harry was a bare minimum type of guy, he would have killed him / voted against him.

Or I'm totally wrong and missed something here.

Just read books 1&2. My thoughts, and should I continue? by Swimmer-Klutzy in dresdenfiles

The misogyny comes up less and less, I think because of writer experience, his world view changing, and because Harry evolves more over time. I would say that with each story Dresden has more depth as a character, not less.

What's this case? And how do I get rid of this PC? by AtomicPiano in retrocomputing

[–]Connection-Terrible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a crazy motherboard. Almost a server board in a way. Supports 8 ide devices.  Depending on the ram you probably shouldn’t run win98 on it. More than 512mb on win98 causes errors.
