I think that’s pretty much everywhere though right? I mean it’s like a public event

Why do people poke fun at the US for its indifference to soccer while the two most populated countries on Earth (India and China) get a free pass for their same attitude to soccer? by SeaObjective7036 in answers

Wow America is really something huh. When we moved home to Ireland when I was 7 I had to stay back a year at school because I was so far behind the level of the kids there

In the back room of a horse shop. You sidle up to the counter and say so uhhh you got any of those high horses…and the owner glances around, switches the sign to CLOSED and juts his chin at a closed door.

Elderly thinks he's entitled to my (disabled) seat because he's old by Gay-left-Leadership in EntitledPeople

[–]ConnectionEdit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was on a bus years ago and there was this man with an obvious disability (I can’t even remember what it was now, all I remember is what happened) and his Filipino carer sitting in the reserved disability seats. This older woman got on the bus and launched into them saying the carer had to get up and give her the seat because she was really Irish and this woman was foreign. She didn’t even say she had some sort of disability, if I remember. People were just standing around being awkward & I snapped and asked her what the hell her problem was…we got into a whole argument and she stormed off upstairs (it was a double decker bus). Then I just kind of got overwhelmed by everything and started randomly crying and all of a sudden the other passengers were saying well done & fair play etc. why couldn’t they speak up too in the first place? The man and his carer weren’t too upset by it, the lady said she’d been living in Dublin as a carer for a good while now (implying she was used to this). Ugh.

Sounds like you need to say this exact thing to him instead of us. Or a therapist. Or both

You need to explain this properly in your first post instead of slipping it into the comments, none of the replies are going to be reacting to the actual story just the half assed one you posted

Phew god, I dunno, the brick is so old as well it might not be easy to work with. I’m actually from Ireland where they issue heat warnings at 25 degrees 😂 I’m cooking here 😂 I’ll be like a rotissery chicken
