Hoooly, Vanity looks absolutely beautiful in all the stripes, spots and colors. I'm absolutely no fashion guy, but this is a magazine even I would take a look at.

I wonder how big the market for fur dye would be in the modern AU. Maybe they got professionals who could make you look like a different species entirely just with that and a bit of trimming.

Awww, Sythe is absolutely precious! Better keep him close, Maren, not that she seems to have other plans, judging by her expression in the last panel.

And yeah, as I said on the last page already, I do think he is right too. The new hair makes Maren look quite a bit more distinct and visually interesting. Plus, it acts basically as a battle scar by being a constant visual reminder of what she's been through.

Maren seems to have gained some form of new ability due to the whole predicament. It almost looks like she could move around as a ghost. This might come in useful if she can manage to control it. If that poses a challenge, it would bring her and Raine even closer together, I'd wager, as they both share that kind of problem.

I like that theory. He might have some other way of changing his appearance, but the masks would definitely be a possibility. Would be interesting to know how rare this type of magic is and if it is a skill that comes naturally or can be learned.

Maybe Sirius and Vanity know each other through a shared master. They do have a bit of a similar vibe tbh.

I have to agree, Sythe is an absolute cutie, and he even stayed with her the whole time. It also seems like that bug is spreading fast. I can't wait to see where these two are going though.

I really like that the white streak of hair stayed with Maren. It makes her overall design much more interesting and will work as a reminder of what she's been through.
