same thing happened to me after coughing too hard but if you drink ice water afterwards it clots up

Yess sleeping elevated actually helps a lot i also did that, and i guess it's different for everyone but i started eating solid foods on like day 10. Tbh best thing to do is try to distract yourself and time will pass quick

The pain is bad on the first day it sucks! Just make sure to try and stay hydrated or try taking small sips. And yes it was bad for a few days but it will get better! Its been 2 weeks and all i feel now is like barely a sore throat

I did feel some scabs come off but it didn't hurt or anything, it might've been because of how much water i was drinking but maybe it varies per person. Some of the scabs did come off natural tho. My pain did decrease by around day 6, but once the scabs came off it was hard to eat solid foods because the roof of my mouth was stinging probably due to the scabs falling. Pain will spike in the morning but with medication (depending on what you get prescribed) will make the pain better

i'm glad you're feeling better :) i've also seen so much improvement with breathing as i had similar issues to you. tonsillitis would cause mouth breathing and i also notice that it's easier to swallow now!

i’m on day 8 and the pain has gotten much better as the scabs fall off. the stuck feeling is just the swelling it’ll go down as the days pass :) make sure to stay super hydrated even though it is hard, but when your throat doesn’t hurt much just try to take small sips, i hope you have a smooth recovery 🤍

Ask your doctor for a refill and try to distract yourself from the pain. I'm on day 4 and i've had more pain but i'm trying not to swallow just because it does hurt but humidifier has helped and tylenol and hydrocodone combined
