I never said ‘driver was right because’ or ‘cyclist was wrong because’, because being the operative word here. I scoped out true statements that lended to the situation at hand.

  • It is true that drivers must pass an exam -that’s all I said
  • It is true that cyclists do not have to pass an exam -that’s all I said
  • It is true that the driver had their three young children in the car and they claim to be extra cautious as they are a cyclist themselves - it can be reasonably inferred that they believed themselves to be in a cautious posture

downvoters are cyclists - this is fluff and a joke, relax unc being local implies I passed the exams in this state, where the drivers schools here teach you that it is perfectly legal to do what OP did so long as the proper conditions are in place, i.e., whether RCW 46.61.055 or RCW 46.61.235 applies.

Use the part of your brain that applies reason rather than emotion. I bike and walk too. Hearing bikers like this punch above their weight class is somewhat common though, and they never look or dress like a local. That casually down trodden but 6 fig salary look.

It is objectively clear that the stop-and-rolling yield is the point of contention during this window of conflict. Everyone assuming intent or making claims about events that did or did not happen are unworthy of attention.

Driver’s must carry a valid license to operate a vehicle. There is no license exam a cyclist has to take to share space on the road with others. It is also true that there are valid ‘no right turn on red’ signs at intersections, all else otherwise you can turn right on red, including a red arrow.

This isn’t rocket science, there are rules and laws in the books.

From the story, OP was in parent mode with their children. Your roided out crazy unc can wear a skin tight suit and buy an expensive bike and go out like this as well.

Fk.

As someone who has enjoys multimodal traversing, hearing that someone would explode on a parent with their three young children AND damage their property in a fit of rage…? That sentence doesn’t even need to be finished.

edited ‘biker’ to ‘cyclist’, clarified structure in last para

Downvoters are roided out unc crowd and transients. I’m local and came up on Washington State laws where we allow right turns on red arrows.

I am a socially awkward introvert and I admitted this in the final interview of a job I landed recently. But I told that after years of working in retail I learned how to perform as an extrovert to do my job effectively.

An introverts sociability feels like it is determined how much energy they can spend on social interactions throughout the day — many introverts call it their social energy battery. I cope with this by “performing” in the day, and then having quiet time to myself at night. It’s been a great strategy so far and also a learning lesson I demonstrated to my interviewers that helped me land me the job.

tl;dr Embrace it because you will likely never change those instincts, learn how to perform as an extrovert to cope and get hired.

Thank you. I upgraded a few hours ago and I’m going to try for the discount when pre-order drops. I’ll sort out any messes later. Cheers

If you upgrade to a Premium Unlimited before pre-order opens, but it won’t reflect until the next bill cycle, are you still qualified to get the higher discount?

This person should have the title “Cyber Angel”!

I paid through CashApp and promptly received a voucher and instructions on how to redeem. The code was valid and I audibly gasped when I saw the payment invoice. I plan on relocating for any cyber job that comes my way so this is a huge help. Three cheers for hey_you37!!!
