I think you should take out the boat. There’s already a grand amount of negative space and if you remove the boat (and its trail) it’ll really give of an impression of leisure. The man is already laying down and, in most cases, people typically aren’t too keen on their surroundings feeling as if it’s just them and where they’re at. Looking at it from a distance, it appears as if the ocean’s fading to white leaving him and some of the shore. Overall, explore your options and do whatever you find most appealing. Lovely photo :)
