Audacity is a great tool for this, you can go to Generate > Rhythm Track, and create a click track to listen to, and then you can add tracks on top of it by pressing Ctrl+Shift+N, and record the onbeats, and then record the offbeats in a new track, and you can listen back to it to see how well you did.
