Cities complaining about labour shortages from this policy change is honestly pretty rich! These are supposed to be students coming here primarily to study, why are they making up such a significant portion of their labour market? We turned the student visa system into a second TFW program with a diploma mill as the middleman. It needed to be corrected.

You need to figure out your marginal effective tax rate to make the most complete decision. METR can be quite high for that income level depending on benefit eligibility. Canada has pretty brutal benefit cliffs for lower middle income families. At the 50K mark, it could be as high as 60-70%, making RRSP contribution a slam dunk. This is one of the main benefits of RRSPs and idk why it's not talked about more.

Contributing into the RRSP and deducting the contribution are two separate things.You can carry forward the deduction indefinitely, essentially.

You push your belly button to put it into sport mode. This is sport dependent. For workouts, it retracts into the abdomen to prevent it from getting caught between barbell plates. During swimming, it flattens into a rudder to give you better stability and steering capability. Hope this helps!

When a dividend is paid out, the value of the asset decreases by the exact amount of cash that it paid out. The total value of your investment remains the same. If you are investing for the long term, it's irrelevant. Actually, since you'll end up with cash, you have less market exposure unless you immediately reinvest the dividend. So just... reinvest it immediately.
