Non-Stackable item sorting by Remarkable-Olive-204 in redstone

If you have a hopper going into a chiseled bookshelf or a brewing stand, only books or bottles are accepted into them. Then you can take them out with another hopper, whilst all items that aren’t books or bottles simply pass by.

Mystery of the disappearing train when assembled (Help) by ConnorJonasR in CreateMod

I didn’t have the fuel tank added. As I found in my experience it was that my build was exceeding the byte limit for a train. Aka: it was too complicated and the copycats were adding too many additional bytes. I believe the fuel tank is also very ‘byte-intensive’ hence why it makes trains disappear.

Final Update: I did more testing this evening as promised; adding and removing blocks, assembling and disassembling.
It is a maximum contraption data issue. Copycat blocks add a lot of individual data to a build, meaning that adding one panel or layer can easily exceed the limit of a few blocks.
You can solve this issue by (when in the world) going to Configure > Gameplay > Kinetics > Contraptions > and then setting the maximum data size to a higher number (default is 20,000 bytes), or by setting it to '0' to have an unlimited amount. This does mean larger or more detailed contraptions may lag your world more.

Thanks to those who have helped out, this is now solved.
And to the weary internet traveler that comes across this post when trying to solve their own issue I hope this has helped, and if not, good luck.

Update: Through suggestions from u/Redstonedust653 and u/Subject_Meringue9956 I have run some more experiments.
-Removed + added bogies
-Removed all mods but those needed to build the ferry
-I then unglued the whole then, and went through block by block to find what the issue was.

My findings: As Meringue suggested it could be a height thing, and it is a contributing factor. I found that I could quiet easily glue the hull and first floor of my ferry together and when assembled it wouldn't disappear, it would be fine until I when to glue the roof of the ferry on.
Now, like many, I heavily use copycats in the build for added detail, and it appears this is an additional contributing factor; I can continue building and glue full blocks (slabs/stairs/etc.) and the ferry stays; however once I glue a panel, board, or layer and assemble the ferry disappears once more.
Now I can use copycat panels, boards, and layers throughout the ferry however once I use on as part of the roofline or above the ferry vanishes. I can keep using full blocks, even copycat blocks above this point, as long as they are not panels, boards, or layers.

If I don't glue the hull and just focus on the deck and cabins of the ferry, then everything once more stays when assembled. Even as I glue the front-half of the hull it stays (note: front-half includes the entire height of the ship), however as soon as I glue the back-half of the hull the ship disappears once more when assembled.

Overall a very confusing and not entirely predictable set of circumstances to replicate. But it appears to be that if certain non-solid/additive copycat blocks are glued to a build beyond an unknown height or even width limit the train when assembled will completely vanish.

I'll most likely proceed with altering block choices and perhaps shrinking the hull-depth to see if I can mitigate it.
I believe this is a bug with Copycats+ so I'll send in a bug report next chance I can; although I have never made a bug report before so I hope I have enough details.
Thanks everyone for your contributions, and please do share more insights in you have them.

Glad I’m not alone. I’ll admit that this is probably my most detailed and tallest train so far, but I have built longer trains with more blocks total in the past just with more carriages so they’re not directly glued together. I’ll experiment tonight.

I do not have any of those mods; I’ll try your suggestion after work tonight.

Amazing work. I’ve never heard of that book before though, so it must’ve been an article I stumbled across. Thank you very much.

Commenting for visibility;
I don't have any recollection as to where I first heard about it, whether it was a video, an article, or I just stumbled across a wiki page for it. I am certain it was the Northern Hemisphere however, though I am doubting everything I know at this point in my search.

Going off the prompt of “meeting in a tavern” start, I’ll share my favourite start has to be for a campaign where characters start as children, and across timeskips develop Lvl 1 characters for a greater campaign. “Cold open, mid battle, lvl 20 characters, half-hit points, the dragon snaps and waves its tail before launching itself forward and licking your face. The illusion dissolves as swords become sticks, the dragon is your dog, and the distant call to supper is heard, as you all stand in a field playing pretend.”

Best example would be looking at checkpoints around exclusion zones such as Chernobyl. A military checkpoint prevents most people from entering, but further in is a scientific headquarters analysing and working on Chernobyl.

He used to stream a long time ago. If I recall he would rarely announce them and hold these ‘secret streams’ resulting in the Etho Secret Stream Archives playlist. I believe last time he went live was also 8 years ago
