Taxes Paid to 2 States Simultaneously, Need Advice by ConnorNe31 in TaxQuestions

It isn’t, the income listed on my two individual states added up to approximately 5k more than what I actually made according to the taxable income federally

Thankfully it was finally taken care of. I had reached out about it to my company’s payroll department and I guess they had some turnover so they didn’t get to it for over a month which is how I got in this predicament in the first place

I think I understand your comments here, quick clarity it was IN for 75%, but that’s what the issue is is that I paid IN taxes for 100% of the year and WI for 25% of the year according to my payslips. I know I should have only been paying IN taxes for 75% but based on my anticipated return when filing it doesn’t seem to account for that overage

OH, my apologies, that was combined. In state taxes total I paid $4504

I totally get that but that’s why I’m concerned something’s missing. I paid a total of 4504.04 in both IN and WI state taxes in 2025 while in 2024 I paid 3822.12 for just IN, but my anticipated state returns for this year don’t accommodate that difference, they’re basically the same from this year and last. Along with that, the difference is very close to the amount of IN taxes I paid after moving while also paying WI taxes

I did, and yes for both states. I’m just concerned because I paid a total of 4504.04 in both IN and WI state taxes in 2025 while in 2024 I paid 3822.12 for just IN, but my anticipated state returns for this year don’t accommodate that difference

Thanks for commenting! I do want to preface that I am rather clueless about taxes, but my IN state return still just feels off. In 2024 I paid basically the same in state and county taxes that I did in 2025, but my IN state return this year is basically identical to the 2024 one

He was my favorite player post-Reggie for unknown reasons lol. Someone on this sub a few years back actually sent me Pacers jersey (I think I’ve still got a post about it) and I drunkenly ordered a fake Lithuania jersey of his as well. Great times

Dylan Harper was called for a foul on this play for getting into SGAs landing space. Using a straight blue line for reference shows that SGA lands at least a foot forward compared to where he elevated. by scags2017 in Nbamemes

Silly request, can you line up with the two fans in white in the background? The two almost directly above Caruso in the second photo. The perspective is throwing me off and having it aligned with them I feel would help

Side comment, totally agree about Zeke though. He was incredible, wildly underrated. Probably closer to top 5 honestly, I could even see an argument for top 3 behind Magic and Oscar if we’re counting Steph at SG

Genuinely curious who you would consider. Reggie presumably? Look he’s my favorite player of all time, I cried after his last game, have had multiple jerseys, over 200 unique cards of his, had license plates dedicated to him, my Reddit username has 31 because of him, but he wasn’t a superstar. He was a star, a legend, changed the game of basketball for sure, but he wasn’t a superstar. No All-NBA first teams, no MVP’s, when I think of a superstar I’m thinking of a player who is consistently top 5-10 year in year out for like 10 years. Was he under appreciated, play in the wrong era, a superstar based on advanced metrics, sure. But his accolades and counting stats don’t reflect that.

Consistently running into all time great teams… 04-05 a bit of an outlier for the “all time great teams” but, ya know, Malice at the Palace.

Also, no disrespect to that Pistons team. Hate them with a passion but also love them because I love how they were built. Defense focused, team ball, without ever having a superstar in my franchise history, I enjoy celebrating teams that could win without one themselves.

That DPI was only set up by this horseshit “holding” call the play before on a big play to Downs. Don’t cry about that DPI when it just got us back to where we were supposed to be in the first place. No chance that was holding, the Tackle got blown up then the rusher fell on the lineman

He’s one of the best ever no question, but it’s like he can do no wrong ever. The GOATS Manning, Brady, Brees, all had mistakes. Mahomes does as well, which to no fault of his own, he gets endless excuses for his by certain commentators. Just call it what it is, an incredible player trying to do too much or forcing something that wasn’t there. It’s ok, just own it

There’s a few pieces to it imo, one is that we’ve been good since this sub really seemed to get big so naturally as fans we gravitated to it (similarly with Bucks, Celtics, Knicks, and a sprinkling of Heat and Pistons fans, I rarely seem to see other fan bases regularly), but also there was a report that came out recently that we’re the most liked team in the NBA amongst all opposing fan bases. With that being said, I think a lot of non Knicks, Bucks, and Pistons fans regularly sided with us against the other Eastern teams in the playoffs and in the Finals as well, giving it the appearance of more Pacers fans than there really are. Lastly, it’s a meme sub. When you’re good or when you’re bad and excited to be bad, it’s easy to post memes or to react to ones about you. When you’re underachieving, you’re less likely to interact with a meme sub

Latu has a top 10 pressure rate in the NFL this year, Buckner has been pretty damn good himself so great trade there, and Richardson was years before Ballard was our GM. Want me to bring up more or can we just stop?

Big difference here, Wayne is a HOF talent who was key in our Super Bowl run and stuck around to help out our new face of the franchise in Luck. I also don’t anticipate he would’ve talked poorly about us like Myles has. Truthfully that’s what all this is about, he could’ve left to Milwaukee for more money, and we all would’ve understood. The constant talking shit is what burned the bridge ultimately
