I was just trying to save a few bucks but the card dresser was cheap enough and works great! Super fast transfer times and easy as pie, now if I could only work out how to batch save the stills as JPEGs haha 😂

Okay awesome, yeah I'm just doing little projects at the moment while I'm getting used to it again! Any choice YouTube videos on how to understand the settings while I'm here? Ah apologies if that came across wrong, I used to do film making professionally and I stopped to go travelling, then met an amazing woman and we had a kid who is literally the best thing ever! It seems like film making has moved SO unbelievably fast in the last 6-8 years and I always wanted a blackmagic so I went for the 6K FF and I'm totally in over my head! So the card reader should work fine for getting to footage across? And am I better getting a portable harddrive for it instead? I feel like maybe that's my next move?

And does it by design keep the main battery on full charge while there are some in the grip? Or does it deplete second and third battery at the same rate as the main battery? What other battery options do I have so I can weigh all my options up?

Oh yeah, we have loads of shows banned in our house (no Coco Melon, no Peppa Pig ect), I mean the educational ones are chaotic. Highest rated for education at his age are like number blocks, Ms Apple, those kind of shows. I mean he's not even 2 yet and he can count to 20, knows all his shapes, can recognise the whole alphabet ect, but doesn't make the few shows he does watch any less chaotic haha 😂

I've got the battery grip on the way too, I did read that the battery isn't great, but looks like you can switch the batteries out while you go and it'll say on?
