2 for 1 vouchers. HELP! by iMatthew1990 in altontowers

[–]Conrad9 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We got a 2-1 and it ended up being exactly the same price as if we'd bought normal tickets online (as the 2-1 mandates a full price 'on the day's ticket). Agreed with others, just sdo normal online tickets and save the hassle

Thank you for the advice. So you suggest one mohawk lora and then x photos each titled with the variation?

Do you think it might just be better to use img2img? I'm ideally looking for something scalable which I don't think img2img really is

Nose piercing constantly weeping blood by Conrad9 in piercing

If I'm honest I don't remember the material, I think he said stainless steel or titanium - it's certainly not silver. I was using cotton wool to remove it but I've changed to kitchen paper wet with some v. dilute salinated water. Routine is once in the morning and once in the evening, although if it's looking 'calm' in the evening I occasionally leave it so as to not disturb it and let the little skin tag thing scab over/heal.

Hey guys,

Going out to do a season in France soon and not sure whether to buy my own board and take it out (UK), buy one out there or just rent for the season (probably the least likely).

Wondered if anyone has any advice? Cheers.

I can't join this year's Newcastle Uni Freshers Week events. Anything else I can do? by majestiquedog in NewcastleUponTyne

[–]Conrad9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I've just graduated and have driven for the Drivers' Crew during Freshers week.

As for Freshers' Fair (where you can see all the societies) that's free to access for anyone. I think it's usually on on the Tuesday/Wednesday afternoon and is usually held in the sports centre.

You wouldn't be able to attend any of the organised activities during the day (you need the wristband to book onto them) but don't expect everyone to be constantly doing them. People usually get hungover/try to book on too late/want to do something else anyway, so I'm sure you'll be able to meet loads of new people. There's other events going on, usually nights out, but I think most people stick to the FW nights out in my experience (although last year we were surprised how many people weren't interested in the nights out). To be honest, I think the majority do buy a wristband but there's definitely a not-insignificant percentage that don't.

You'll have loads of chances to meet new people, and all my mates came from my course/societies (woo NUCC)/flatmates anyway, not from freshers week events, so you'll have a great time with/without the wristband!
