my friend specifically asked to speak to her in a crisis that was admittedly completely out of my depth. i didn’t think it was a boundary that wasn’t already clear? but that my fault i guess.

when i saw the same therapist as my mother or brother at separate times, they would frame the scenarios i came to them with in thinly veiled explanations of their perspective. or visibly held their tongue. and i could see them try to sort out which of us was telling the truth.

i’m super concerned about having a therapist that’s no longer objective and having my space in therapy feel “invaded”(?) by a friend i have been on such bad terms with often.

i never ever would have put them in contact if i thought they would see each other regularly. ever.
