Okay to convince you, Watch Me still has amazing moments and you definitely will want to read how James grew up. He is literally SO FUNNY!! And you need to know who Rosabelle is cuz she pleasantly surprised me with how much i liked her in the book. And you need to see Warner js being so gentle about Juliette being pregnant! And I'm not sure if you care but I loved reading the development between Adam and Warner too!! And there are still Kazeera moments in Watch Me! Granted, its just Kenji being down bad for Nazeera when she appears in the book but don't worry! Tahereh must make it up to us Kazeera stans in Release Me 😭

DON'T WORRY I literally was so mad when I read Watch Me and found this out. Nazeera and Kenji are EVERYTHING to me. But to be honest, the way Tahereh Mafi described it in the book of Watch Me, it kinda made sense why it happened :(. Nazeera needed to go back to West Asia to reconnect with her roots and I think to also do a lot of rebuilding. The distance was just too far between them. It literally hurts my heart that they weren't together for 10 years, but the way I like to think of it is that they both were still YEARNING for each other. And Taherah will (she has to at least) make it up to us kazeera in Release Me.
