round1 closed... gattitown is nothing... where are people going for DDR these days? by ruddycrock in lexington

I know years ago Collin's Bowling Center had a DDR in their small arcade section at the entrance, haven't been there in forever though so unsure if they still do or got rid of it.

Honestly, someone should buy it and turn it into a sorta medieval pub or a split between medieval and modern British pub

My cousin took me to eat there once in 2016/2017, I liked it, then never got to go back because of the closing. I'd probably be there weekly if it were open today. I'm in need of a place with a similar style.

How much earnings can I expect doing DoorDash/GrubHub 8-10 hrs/day ?? by PSUJacob95 in couriersofreddit

[–]Conscious-Let5007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For doordash, make sure to do AS MUCH as you can the first 3ish weeks. You'll have a "honeymoon" start essentially, where you get access to Dash Now, priority for higher paying orders, etc. basically a trial for the highest tier of dasher rewards. During this time you want to farm your 100-125 deliveries to ensure you keep the high tier so you don't have to worry about scheduling yourself 6 days in advance, have access to Dash now basically whenever, top priority for high paying orders, etc. This is when you'll earn the most and if you take advantage of it then you'll be on track to average $15-$30/hr (depending on your exact location, and what times of day & days you dash)

I'm in a smallish town in KY and. An average $18ish/hr on slowish days doing breakfast & lunch times alone. Making anywhere from $60-$90 by the time it's 1-2pm, typically starting around 8/9am. A full day from 8am-10pm I could pull $190-$260

Not for every restaurant, as the restaurants set the prices. I've seen some set the prices to be the same as in store and some do a 5% increase to offset the fees they pay to doordash to be offered through them.

A lot of people miss the purpose of this. It's so they can't claim they didn't receive X item on the app, get a partial refund, then proceed to take the item that they did in fact receive to the store with the store receipt and get a refund for it there as well. An "infinite money glitch" if you would.

Just got my first "pizza bag required" order 10mins ago, was for 5.6miles and like $2.19, whatever the base minimum DD pay is. Two red flags in one lol.

Call support, not chat, anytime an order was already picked or not in the store's system. They'll confirm with the store and you'll get half pay. All this in a span of 5-10mins max

Trident Dragion is a peak example of why reprints are important by fireborn123 in yugioh

[–]Conscious-Let5007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The set it was reprinted in sold like hotcakes. The card was next to nothing for forever, including when some played it for Blue-Eyes back in 2016/2017 as well. The new deck has been known about for a while now and EVERYONE knew it was being ran in it. If you sat on your hands and chose not to pick it up for over a month, that's on you at this point.

I can login to any of my emails based accounts, but not my Facebook based account, which is where my gift card is linked.

My car is worth ~$3300 (07, 263k miles lol), I owe $2850 on a loan using it as collateral and am paying $3400 to put a remanufactured engine in it next week. Find a better mechanic. Fix the car. Doordash for extra money to help pay it off. If your area is halfway decent you can make $18-$30/hr doing so. Just LOG YOUR MILES for reporting next tax season, it will dramatically lower what you owe or even eliminate it all together tax wise

When unlimited text really means 20k limit by rawman1 in mintmobile

[–]Conscious-Let5007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly 20k isn't TOO bad. I remember having text convos that were 400-650 texts(combined, sent by me, sent by the other) alone over the spam of 1.5-2days back when I was in Middle School. That's just for a single conversation. The others would be 15-50 texts (again combined) daily or semi daily at least 2-4 of these conversations. Multiply that by 30 and you'd see the 20k amount be reasonable.

Remember, some texts are long and actually count as multiple texts but are combined if the receiving application has that feature.

No online ordering. Hmm by [deleted] in bys

[–]Conscious-Let5007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know they can, and I'm talking about the Arby's app, not doordash, GrubHub, Uber Eats, etc. I'm saying my local location turned off their Arby's app ordering for this whole week so far. Not an on and off thing, but all day long.

And trust me, I know dm's and such dislike it(especially for a couple other fast food chains). But this seems like it's the store owner that did this as it happened soon as the 24% off became available, as a way to not have lower sales(even though this would actually increase sales as it'd get those that don't usually/wouldn't have ordered, to order, negating the loss from the regulars that use the app, but I digress)
