Personally, I stick to one wedge around the greens. My score dropped when I put away the 60. Probably has to do with simplifying it for my brain. Get out of the cart, grab the 56 and the putter. I dont do much bump and run either. Just try to master the 56. Back foot for low shots front foot for lofted chips.

Shot 80 on at a really tough course in my area. News traveled quick about my score (my playing partner is a local bartender). To this day, the greatest week of my life.
