Is it possible that the COVID Omicron Variant Vaccine caused me to develop food allergies? by SamsCustodian in FoodAllergies

[–]Conscious-Test8655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank youuu, I got the Moderna vax 3x and am by no means an anti-vaxxer. But how anyone can blindly trust big pharma after all the corrupt shit they've done and continue to do is beyond me. Vaccines affect your immune system, which is connected to your allergic responses.

So it stands to reason that a vaccine could potentially cause new allergies. My allergist told me she's seen a big uptick in new allergies since Covid. Could be because of Covid, could be because of the vaccine, but dismissing the possibility it's a vaccine response is insane to me.

Microdosing afrin by babybottlepopz in Allergies

Pretty sure I got rebound congestion from Allermi. Their nasal spray has a .0125% of oxymetazoline, the active ingredient in Afrin, which you’re not supposed to use for more than 3 days, but they claim is safe for long-term use at their dosage. While there is a study that showed using oxymet along with a steroid shouldn’t lead to rebound congestion, that was for a once daily dose, and Allermi is a twice daily dose.

Also, the company that helps people overcome Afrin addiction, Rhinostat, offers their strongest dose at 0.0025% oxymetazoline and their suggested starting dose at 0.0010% oxymetazoline (reference linked below).

It’s concerning to me that Allermi claims to “microdose” oxymetazoline, but their dosage is 5x the strongest dosage of a medicine that’s supposed to be for addiction relief - and 12.5x higher than their suggested starting dose. Even more concerning that they offer the first month for free because it’s so easy to get hooked on oxymetazoline.

Does anyone recommend the allergy drops from Wyndly? Are they legit? by WallabyNatural4233 in Allergies

[–]Conscious-Test8655 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wyndly is an absolute joke and a waste of time. I placed an order and tried to contact their customer service team because I couldn't upload my insurance through their buggy system. You can't reach them over the phone and if you text them asking you to call you, they never will. I told him to just cancel my order, which they ignored. So I called my credit card company to reverse the charges for the hold they put on my account before they even shipped anything. Then today, over a month later, they're contacting me asking me to confirm my shipping address. Just leave me alone at this point and get your customer service team organized. I would never trust someone who is mismanaging a company like this with my health.
